    I voted for Richard Nixon.

Now there was your first mistake !

Here's what makes ME feel old:

Remembering when we got our first COLORED TV.
Watching Get Smart, and thinking how COOL it would be to have those inventions.....which we now have (cell phones, teeny cameras, etc.)
    Party lines.
    Rotary phones.
no such thing as home computers!

I am old enough to have been able to go to Woodstock (although I didn't), to see the Beatles on Ed Sullivan, and to groove out to the likes of Herman's Hermits and Led Zeppelin.........and to say things like Far Out and Groovy on a regular basis.

I smoked dope when it was pretty liberal and easy to get dope...and it was rarely laced with anything else.
I wore fringed jackets and BIG bells and braids in my long, straight, parted-down-the-middle hair.

Ahhh, the good old days

My daughter turns 13 this year, I'm 30.5.
I shop at Costco, and I enjoy it.
My 80 year old Granny, said I wasn't a spring chicken anymore.
I wake up every morning at 6:30am with no alarm clock without fail. (my mother used to do this, I called her old for it)
All my favorite songs are now on the Classic Rock station

When I was a kid, my parent's could spank me without fear of being arrested.

I remember when our only TV had vacuum tubes, rabbit ears, and a black & white picture.

My first car didn't have seat belts.

I remember watching the Beatles live on the Ed Sullivan show.

I've been married over 1/2 of my life.

30 year class reunion this summer.

Any mention of "Happy Days" "Little House on the Prairie" "The Waltons"

Youngest son (21) getting married in 4 weeks....and leaving for the Navy in September.

Oldest son (almost 24) has a 5 month old baby.

Kids I coached in Jr. High are MARRIED and have MULTIPLE kids (on purpose)! LOL

My "middle school" students flabbergasted that I remembered every detail of where I was/what I was doing the day Pres. Reagan was shot.

I was told this past week by a 5 year old I am "old but cool!" (Not sure about that one---it sure made me laugh!!)

I'm 47....and once-upon-a-time thought that was ANCIENT being so close to 50 and all. :)

Thanks, OP (and all you posters) for the good laughs!
