Turkey bacaon all day. It is so much better for you plus it doesn't taste to bad. I think I might like it's flavor better than guilty regular bacon.

Real! I tried turkey, but just didn't get on that bandwagon. I buy the pre-cooked stuff at Costco so we can just use a few pieces at a time and aren't tempted to eat a whole pound...

What about Beggin strips? Would you buy them for your pet if they came in Turkey, as a healthier option?

Sure..why not? When I had a dog, she didn't care WHAT she was given, as long as the word "treat' was used when holding it out. (she'd drink anything too..as long as you said "here's your wine"...LOL).

    That is awesome.

If you're going to eat it, might as well be the real thing.

I eat 2 strips of turkey bacon everyday. I'll eat pork bacon once in a blue moon.

Please don't hit me with a bat when I say this but I don't see the big deal about pork bacon.

Not a bacon fan! I will eat it if it's in front of me, but I think I have cooked bacon twice in my lifetime. I know everyone is shaking their heads at me! haha.

I mainly eat turkey bacon. If I have regular it at least needs to be low sodium and I'll generally only use it for BLT lettuce wraps.

I prefer the turkey bacon. Less greasy than real bacon.

I like both, but consider them totally different foods.
One does not "substitute" for the other.

Depends on how I feel on a given day... today, I'd eat turkey bacon.

They make turkey bacon? That would be great, since I don't eat pork. :D

I prefer the real deal in moderation. Two strips cooked crisp in the microwave is only 70 calories. Any of the healthy properties of the turkey are negated once it is chemically altered to taste somewhat bacon-like.
