Real bacon. If you plan on eating bacon, might as well be completely bad. Plus, I don't like the taste of turkey bacon. It just doesn't taste real and it's just over all yucky. But, what I did enjoy when I went vegetarian, I loved vegetarian bacon!0

In my opinion, it is a matter of taste. It is more important how much you eat of it, rather than what. I believe that pretty much every food is "healthy" in moderation. Two strips of "real" bacon will not kill you, but if you drink too much water or take too many vitamins, that could.
By the way, calling turkey meat, bacon, is like calling iron cast pan, weightless. Stupid!0 -

How about Chicken Bacon? I didn't know they made it until we got some last week in our food co-op. My daughter actually prefers it to pork bacon. It is comprable to Turkey bacon.0

Alas, where I was had the noble ability to digest the food of the gods - pork - my stomach and GI tract no longer loves the pork like my taste buds do. I now eat turkey or chicken bacon, though it pales in comparison in taste and texture.
The cow is also my intestinal enemy. A pollo-terian I am.0 -
