If it's not the DREAM Act, it might be announcement on the Affordable Care Act.... I've been anxiously awaiting the Supreme Court's ruling.

When we are kids, just how much say do we have in our parents' choices? If my parents snuck me into Canada when I was 6 years old, is that my fault? What should I have done? Do I really deserve to be booted out of the country 20 years later just because my parents brought me someplace where they thought I'd stand a chance at building a good life? Come on - humanity is bigger than nationalism. Why can't we just try to be decent people?

The point many are missing is that this should be decided by the people via their elected leaders -- Congress. This is not something that the Executive Branch (the President) should be able to enact himself. The Constitution is designed with checks and balances of powers. If the President pushes this without Congressional approval, he is abusing power.This bill is specifically geared toward children or those people who were brought here as children.

Come here legit, work for it, stay here legit and get the benifits. My grandpa did it, others can too. I don't particularly feel like carrying everyone who can run, jump, or bend into tight fitting places in vehicles.

I just have no tolerance for people who are saying Obama should resign. It's so ****ing ignorant. He's done some great things for this country. Do I agree with him on every issue? No. Do I think he's done about as good as he can with a congress who has an agenda to vote against him on every issue? Yes. A lot of old school republicans don't even like what the republicans are doing today. This partisanship is killing our government. No good will come of this. As for "liberal" Obama, he is about as liberal as Ronald Reagan. The founding Fathers were more progressive than today's government. It's scary.

My first comment....to those of you saying that you shouldn't have to respect him just because he's the president....you're right. You should respect him because he is a fellow HUMAN BEING. Holy ****, people. The Golden Rule is a very important rule to follow.
Secondly.....I work in Immigration. This wasn't pushed through before now for MANY reasons, none (that we have anything to do with) having to do with upcoming elections.0 -
