Why do you delete people?

if you are annoying you get deleted...
this right here0 -
I deleted several people just because I hadn't heard from them in quite a while and I am always posting encouraging things for my pals on here. I also deleted a bunch because I wanted to keep a small core group of friends who would hold me accountable to my goals and not just stroke my ego.... but that's just me....
:ohwell:0 -
If they never interact with me I eventually delete people. If they are new on my list and I get that "has not logged in for three days" I delete them. After a few weeks of not logging in I also delete them.
I have a lot of friends which is cool, but I don't see the point of just have friends that I don't talk to/comment with at least a few times a week0 -
They didn't like it when I sent them pics of my junk.0

plus, if you've seen my boobs or I've seen yours, you're safe from deletion,0

My MFP friends belong to one of two groups:
1) Supportive people who care about healthy eating and being active
2) Really hilarious trolls
There are a select few who belong to both groups and my world revolves around them0 -

i haven't completely deleted people. but i almost have, and it almost cost me a hefty price.
you see, i got into this time machine and went to 1965 where i accidentally interfered with my parents meeting each other. and my would-be mother fell for me, and not my dad. Since that happened, i could see my siblings being deleted from existence as my parents were not yet together. So I devised a plan to get them together at the Enchantment Under the Sea dance. Anyway, my plan worked (although not exactly how i hoped - though some would argue the outcome was better) I saw my siblings reappear and then I played Johnny B. Goode with Chuck Berry's cousin.
Am I cool enough to be your friend? Because that was awesome0 -

You never asked.0 -
Having just gone through and deleted a bunch of people from my "friends" list - let me explain the reasons why.
First - I have not ever gone in and done a delete on just ONE person - so it's not for "personal" reasons. Some of them are very cool people!
Second - if you haven't logged in for over a month...well....
Third - I know people get busy from time to time - and I can say there are days that go by when I don't post to anyone's walls, either - but if I'm checking my friends list and I really am not sure who you are because I haven't heard from you in a long time - bye, bye. Good luck.
Fourth - I'm just a jerk.0 -

I definitely fit into one of those.
Plus I like being active.0 -
I delete the negative people or those who yammer on and on and treat MFP like Facebook. Focus people! We're on a mission here!0
-
I delete people when they eat my lunch or steal my caloric burn.....Oh and Vegetarians0
-
I delete people when they just disappear for months.
Or when they have unhealthy habits, like starving or purging. Or they just complain all the time!
Positivity is the way forward!0 -
I've gotten deleted a couple times and it took me aback, the first time because I was pretty communicative with the girl. The second time it wasn't as big a deal I was just surprised. :P Most of the people I've friended that are from MFP are in my area so we have that in common... or are people I know from other places - RL, other websites, etc. I haven't deleted anyone yet. I would if I needed to, but noone has given me reason so far.0

This quote is taken directly from my profile page
"I'm a deleter... If I feel like we don't have enough in common I do delete...if we don't interact enough I do delete...if I go over 100 friends I start deleting. I am very serious about mfp (and I'm not serious about much in life....world wide web related at least) if we aren't a good fit as friends it's not personal...it's just business...and if I've learned anything recently...it is just that."0 -
I went on vacation and everyone deleted me. mother flippers! oh wait, that wasn't me! never mind!0

I used to delete people who didn't log on regularly or who's diary's were private, but I've since changed that and keep everyone no matter what, unless ur a complete jerk.......everyone has thing's going on in their lives and can't always be on or may just need more motivation.........and I figure if you want ur diary private, that's your choice......:)0

I don't accept anyone as friends on MFP.... just my 1 friend= Husband!
Unless anyone I know personally joins.. I don't want to make friends & I had my share of stalkers & creeps. :indifferent:
....but honestly if someone did delete me I wouldn't care. :ohwell:0 -
I only accept friendship requests with a note as to why they picked me.
I delete people for any of the following reasons.
1. Don't log in for over a week (unless I know they are going on vacation)
2. Complain about not losing weight, yet stuff their faces or starving or purging themselves
3. Not prepared to put the work in, and complain
4. Get tetchy if you comment on their diary, when it is full of McDonald's food and soda
I prefer quality not quantity.
As a few people have said... it is a two-way street.0 -
not everyone is everyone's cup of tea...ive been deleted and deleted people...plenty of friends to pay attention to...its all good.0
-
I delete people if I don't hear from them or they don't log in. I don't like a cluttered list.0
-
if folks never comment on my stuff, I delete them. ?
And, if I am commenting on your stuff all the time and never hear back from you on mine...yeah. No. Deleted.0 -
I haven't deleted anyone. Yet.
The list is not that large at this point.
are you selective? or just play hard to get?0 -

You looked better before you became a cat.0 -
If I don't agree with their eating/exercise habits, they whine all the time and just seek attention, or if they don't log in for a month.0
