    What are green numbers?

    Hi,

    When you log you food, in the end, by "Remaining" you have red and green numbers. If you pass trough your recommended value numbers they will turn red.
    I read a lot in here, and for me the only numbers that can be red (pass trough) are Protein :)

    It will be HARD.

    I will tell you what has helped me a lot lately is drinking 2 glasses of really cold water before I eat my main meals. That is 6 glasses of water throughout the day for sure, and I try to drink 1 glass of really cold water before any snacks also. Not only is it good to drink water, it is good to drink it before meals...it fills you up! ((my biggest thing is portion size))

    Good luck to you all and lets all of us meet our goals this time around (for those that didn't last time) and for those that did make their goals last time...CONGRATS!!!!

    Just to give everyone some ideas, if you already drink enough water to pass on the mini challenge like I do, I am going to challenge myself to hit my RDA for calcium (something I am always way short on) I figure it is still a necessary nutrient like water and fills the same purpose as challenging a non-water drinker to drink their water. :)

    The challenge is full at the moment. I'm not sure if you posted previously but if you are in it, your name would appear on the chart on the previous page or you would have received a message from kcthatsme letting you know that a spot opened up. If not kcthatsme has a backup list that you will be added to and if a spot opens up she'll message you to let you know. Sorry if you didn't make it in time.

    Kristin, I'm so sorry I didn't post this yesterday! I was camping and didn't have any access to Internet or a computer for that matter. I really hope I'm not off the chart... :sad:

    Also, I revised my goal to lose just 7 pounds (for a challenge goal weight of 125 pounds instead of 120)... I'm going to have a lot of celebrations (my boyfriend's birthday, my birthday, my brother's birthday, etc.) during the summer and I think just maintining would be OK with me.:drinker:

    So I finished the last challenge with a success and start this one off with a bang! I did W4D2 C25K outside today and oh good Lord do hills suck. Even when they're just small little inclines, they really freaking suck! I'm going to have to start doing at least one day a week of this program outside so that I can get used to running outdoors since I've yet to find an indoor treadmill 5K anywhere...haha

    I know the feeling. I was visiting my family in Seattle last week and they have a lot more hills than we do in Phoenix. Even better the last part of my runs was up a hill to my parents. It really offset the 30 degree drop in tempature.

    Just saw that I was in :) so excited. Never done oneof these before , I think it will hold me accountable.

    I usually do drink 8 glasses a day so my mini challenge will be to add plank exercises into my daily activity . :)
