You essentially set everything up to be crockpot meals and freeze them. Thaw them out the night before and toss them in the cooker that morning or at lunch. 20 different recipes too!0 -
These are fantastic recipes! Thanks for sharing0

I make Porkette in the crockpot.
Any type of boneless pork roast
1- 1 1/2 cans chicken broth
3 or 4 sprigs of fresh rosemary (dried just isnt the same)
2-3 tbsp of minced garlic (jarred or fresh)
Cook on low at least 8 hours. Remove the rosemary stems. Pull out the roast and shred with 2 forks. Put the shredded pork back in the crockpot with the remaining broth.
Its awesome served on flatbread with lots of horseradish. Provolone cheese is good too. Not too shabby in omlette's either!0 -
Love, love LOVE my crockpot! Last night we were having family over for dinner and the Bears/Packers game and I made skinnytaste.com Pork Carnitas in the crockpot. Also made the Cilantro Lime Rice, guacamole and tomatillo salsa and put out regular salsa, fat free sour cream, and regular and whole wheat tortillas for those who wanted them. A HUGE hit with the family!

Family Favorite
Salsa Chicken
Put your chicken breasts in there, I use half a bag of frozen ones.
Add a cup of salsa
Add a packet of taco seasoning (less sodium if you are watching that)
Add a can of cream of mushroom
Cook for 6 hours, when it's done make some brown rice. I like to shred the chicken pour it over the rice, and put a little bit of fat free sour cream on top. The original recipe calls for the sour cream to be mixed in, greek yogurt might be a good alternative as well! You can also put the rice in a tortilla and put the chicken on top for tacos.0 -
