    Morning Ladies,

I was able to get a parking pass from one of my co-workers, he had two extra ones. We had a good day, the weather was nice and our seats had a breeze through the game. I left after the 5th inning, it was a pitching game so not that exciting.

This morning I did stretching with Heather Robertson, felt really good.

Laurel, Great job with those workouts! I do remember that the upper body workout was one that you always questioned, you had the right mindset for that workout with dealing with the soreness. I think that I enjoyed the circuit and kickboxing cardio in the CTX set. I'm interested in what you think of them after not doing those workouts as is. I'm still shocked that my DH is doing so well with these workouts. He doesn't notice his body changing, but I can see it. Told him this morning that I can see a difference. He doesn't seem to fall asleep as much since working out.

Thelma, Love the workouts! Hope that you avoid getting sick. So glad to hear that your capris where big on you, and that you didn't have an incident like DH had. :D It's tough not being able to sleep, good job calming your body down. I tested the bat wing again this morning, just to make sure. Yep it's for real, and I'm very excited. Things are changing slowly, but they are changing. Tank tops are going to be my vacation top, have to show off the muscles. ;) I think that you are right about the Fuel/Iron rotation, I printed out the schedule. We have two weeks left of this rotation, but the last week will be done after we get back from vaca. I don't think DH will mind combining these two. 150# is way heavier than I think I have available for my barbell, that lady is crazy strong.

    Have a awesome weekend!

Hi Ladies! I saved my favorite ICE workout for last, so today was Rock’m Sock’m with the Blizzard Blast, Muscle Meltdown Triceps and Core 1. I did every minute of what ICE has to offer this week, and I so loved it. I am going to have to remember this week in the future when I want some good tough but doable workouts.

Thelma, great workouts. Congratulations on the renegade rows. I really don’t like those, so great job doing them. And congratulations on the weight loss! I am glad you didn’t lose your pants, though. :D I hope you don’t get COVID. We are now is a severe drought here. I was talking to DH last night and he was surprised how quickly we went from abnormally dry to severe drought. And we will be near 100 for the next few days with no rain in sight. It is getting pretty concerning.

Laurie, I am glad you were able to go to the game and leave it when you were ready to leave. Great workout this morning. And yay on those bat wings! You have every reason to show off those muscles proudly when you are on vacation.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi ladies, I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was nice. A little too hot for my taste though. We had a couple of passing showers. Nothing measurable, but we got a few drops of rain.

My workouts on Friday were walking and yoga.
    Saturday - walking
Sunday - walking and CG Iron Day - 28 Iron Glutes. OMG! This glute workout was brutal. I almost cried. I am definitely making Monday an active rest day after this workout.

Two workouts left in the Iron Series. Fuel is next!

I'm happy to report that I am not sick.

Laurie, I'm glad you got a parking pass and went to the game!

Great workout choice to end the week with!

I'm happy I didn't have an accident with my pants last week, too! LOL. I feel that my arms are changing, too and I feel that it's safe to wear tank tops out in public.

I am sure you are looking forward to your vacation. Where are you guys going to this time?
I can't imagine hip thrusting 150#. I tried lifting my 50# barbell on Sunday but was too heavy, so I went back down to 43#. My barbell weighs 13#. The exciting part about the barbell was that I was able to roll it over my legs. In the past I couldn't roll the barbell up my thighs, but I could on Sunday. That was a WOW! moment!

I just looked on Etsy for Caroline's t-shirts because I've seen people on FB wearing some cute ones. OMG! They have lots of t-shirts for sale! I may have to get me one. I like the You vs You one, or the Girvanator one.

Laurel, I love Rock'm Sock'm. Such a fun workout! Great job finishing up you ICE week! What's next?

I don't like the renegade rows, but I am determined to learn to do them.
It really is amazing how quickly we have gone into drought conditions. I imagine that's because this is the second year of dry conditions.

    Have a wonderful week!

    Morning Ladies,

Rain continues to roll though this area. We have been having rain at night, and last night was pretty fierce. There are areas that don't have power. We had a nice weekend. Getting a drive in the 442, and a graduation party yesterday. Otherwise we spent time at home, gardening, sewing and DH did some work on his car.

We got in our Fuel Day 19 Full Body Complex, another tough cardio one. DH again did jumping jacks. Not as many as Caroline indicated, but he was burning calories. :D This morning I did Yoga Joy with Adriene.

Laurel, Nice job ending the week with Rock'm Sock'm, and of course the Blizzard Blast. That ICE rotation would probably be good for an in between rotations week. I purchased some tank tops on Saturday, and of course had to wear one to the grad party. :D Also didn't hurt to give myself a little more tan in that area. Don't need to have the t-shirt tan. :D

Thelma, Great job with those workouts! Can't believe that you are on the last few days of Iron. We will have one more week Fuel workouts after our vacation, and then going into the Iron/Fuel rotation. Both DH and I are having some really good results from doing the Fuel, so I'm hoping the combo will be even better. I think that the worst part about the heavy barbell is getting it off, so I always have to roll up into a sitting position on the ball and take it off from there. Nice that you are able to roll them off easier than previously. Progress in that area it appears.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was good. DH made it home on Saturday, which is always nice. So far, he doesn’t have any more trips until after Labor Day, and I am hoping that remains the case. Anyhow, after he got home, our weekend was a blend of errands and chores. It was near 100 both days and dry, so definitely warmer than I prefer.

For workouts, on Saturday I did Jessica Smith Build Balance and Inner Strength Core Control and 30 minutes of yoga. Yesterday was Cathe Live Lower Body Express into CTX All Step, which included shoulder and core work as well as the step routine. Today was a fun spin into CTX Step and Intervals and Chest.

Thelma, great workouts. Sounds like this rotation has worked wonders on your lower body. Great job being able to get a barbell over your legs! I am doing the Cross Train Express series that Cathe in 2000 or thereabouts. It isn’t my favorite series because I never really meshed with the cardio work, but I like the strength and core work, so it pays off in the end. This is the first time in all these years, though, that I have tried to do the series as Cathe intended it to be used. After just two workouts, I think I probably would have loved this series if it had come out when I was still working.

Laurie, great workouts. Enjoy the rain! Actually, we are supposed to be moving into a wetter pattern here, so maybe you will finally dry out a bit so you can enjoy the summer. Glad you got some new tank tops. It is good to try to get rid of the farmer’s tan before vacation. :)

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Monday were walking and Tracy Steen Low Impact Cardio and Standing Abs. That Iron Glutes workout on Monday was a killer. I felt it in my glutes all day long. Things only got better after I did Tracy's low impact Hiit standing abs workout.

We had a quick thunderstorm but no rain. Monday was HOT! Our weatherman says that we'll be getting lots of rain in the next 10 days or so starting Wednesday.

Laurie, great workouts! I can't believe you're still getting so much rain! I'm glad you had a nice weekend and how wonderful that you got yourself some tank tops!!
You guys must be so happy with the results you're seeing with CG's workouts.
I started counting macros again to make sure I'm getting enough protein in.
It seems to me that the hybrid Iron/Fuel rotation would be a good rotation. There are people who keep repeating Iron over and over again!

Laurel, great workouts! Good job doing the CTX series even when it's not your favorite.

I'm glad you had a nice weekend and that your DH is home!

The rotation has done wonders for my abs and lower body. Every workout feels like an ab workout. Caroline does work the legs a lot.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

More thunderstorms last night, and the electricity went out briefly just before I went to bed. So of course we had things blinking all over the house. This morning we had two cranes in our yard, and then they started walking down the middle of the street. I'm finally up and running on the new purchasing system. It appears some of my purchase orders didn't transfer over, so I will have to create new ones.

Yesterday DH and I did Fuel Day 20 Bodyweight only HiiT. Talk about a tough workout, but we both made it through and the sweat was pouring off both of us. This morning I tried a new instructor Move with Nicole, and did Morning Pilates. Really enjoyed this one a lot, and will probably try another one tomorrow.

Laurel, Awesome job with your workouts! Glad to hear that you are tolerating the cardio, even though you had some dread going into them. :) Hope that you do get some of this rain, we for sure have had plenty. :D Nice that your DH will be home for a while, do you have a large honey do list? :D

Thelma, Great job with the workouts! Hope you get some much need rain also. I upped my protein also, and I think that has helped a bunch. I'm just making sure that I have protein, carb and veg on my plate. Seems to be working on the positive for me. DH said that he would be good with mixing the Iron and Fuel, since we seem to be able to do both fairly well. This way we can see if we have some improvements.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a fun one. I noticed that Cathe had filmed a new Kickbox workout a couple of weeks ago for Live, and seeing as I hate leaving a KB workout undone for too long, I decided to start with that. It was a short, not intense mostly boxing workout with some kicks and one short cardio intensive session, so in other words, it was wonderful and a great blend right into CTX Kickbox, which is similarly formatted. That latter workout also had biceps and core work. I was watering plants after my workout and with all that boxing and biceps my arms were shaking holding my watering can. Must have been a good workout. :)

Thelma, great workouts. Like you, we had all kinds of thunder yesterday and the threat of rain but no rain at all. I am hoping that changes tomorrow. If nothing else, it looks like our temperatures are going to fall back into the 80s which will be nice. But we are under a heat advisory again today, mostly because of the humidity.

Laurie, great workouts. I was wondering if you got hit by that storm last night when I saw how it moved into Chicago at least in part from your area. What a massive storm that was. I try not to have a to-do list for DH when he gets home, but this time I did. We have out bird feeders wired up between two trees and they came crashing down in the middle of last week. I set up a temporary system for them for the rest of the week, but needed DH to climb the ladder up the side of the tree to hang them back up. And then we had an armadillo digging up our yard. They are such horrible creatures so I had to ask him to put down stuff in the yard to make sure we don’t get grubs, which is what the armadillos are after. Just…..yuck. So I left that to him. But, of course, he came home last night with another trip planned in August, so my hopes for a break were short-lived.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Tuesday were walking, yoga and CG Iron Day - 29 Full Body Hypertrophy. One more Iron workout to go!

I got me some of those dumbbell clip-on micro Gainz 1.25# weights on prime day. I can't wait till they get here because I'm ready to increase my weights.

We are supposed to get thunderstorms and rain around here starting Wednesday afternoon. Somehow a rare cold front is heading our way.

Laurie, I can't get over how much rain you've been getting lately. Do you see cranes often there? Sorry not all your purchases were transferred over to the new system.

Great job with those workouts! Those bodyweight workouts are hard. Did you know that somebody put together an add-on for Fuel and Iron playlist? I just found out about them tonight on FB. She has a 36-add-on workout playlist. It's called Add-ons from Iron/Fuel Hybrid. I don't think this is a Caroline created playlist.
I'm glad you also upped your protein. I can't wait to hear what you and your DH think of that hybrid rotation.

Hi Laurel, what a fun workout combo!!! Wow! I can't believe your arms were shacking while holding your watering can! Did you use the boxing gloves?

I hope you'll also get some rain. Our temps are also going to be in the 80's.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

A quiet night as far as rain, and so far it doesn't look like we will be having any the rest of this week. Got in our Fuel Day 21 Leg Day Circuits, this one was a mix of weights and bodyweight. DH is going to a car show tonight, so he got up this morning and we did Fuel Day 22 Upper Compound & Clusters, this was a nice weight workout. She even said at the beginning that there was no cardio or bodyweight except for the tricep dips. :D

Laurel, Great job with those workouts, and of course who doesn't love kickboxing. LOL about the arms shaking from your workout. You worked them good. Yesterday's storm was very intense, but further south they got hit harder with winds. We had a lot of thunder and lightening. Dang on the bird feeder, I'm sure that will be fix fairly quick. The cranes that we had in our yard are grub eaters too, and they scratch the dirt trying to find them. Of course they didn't find anything in our yard, since we have the yard treated also. Skunks also like grubs, and I really want to keep them away from our yard. :D

Thelma, Love the workouts! DH bought some weights also. Hope the storms are not to intense, but you get the much needed rain. The cranes appear at least once a year, they appear to have moved on. We didn't see them this morning. They usually are around in the morning's. I think that there is someone that created the playlist for Fuel/Iron also. I don't think DH will want to do any add-on's until he feels like he needs more.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin into CTX Leaner Legs. That leg workout never gets easier. I will be feeling it tomorrow for sure.

Thelma, great workouts. I didn’t use boxing gloves in my workout yesterday and my arms were still shaking! When I am doing upper body work almost every day, as I did last week with ICE and this week with CTX, I try to take it easy on my shoulders and not add anything like boxing gloves. One of the reasons I am doing this bizarre rotation is I felt some overuse injuries flaring back up as I ended my last STS rotation, most especially in my elbows and shoulders. And after your shoulder experience, I really decided I needed to take a break from heavy lifting for awhile and take care of my wonky shoulders a bit. Thankfully it seems to be working. But I will be ready for lifting heavy again when I am done because these cardio-intensive weeks are actually pretty exhausting. I hope you start getting some rain soon. I guess it rained throughout the city here yesterday, but it never reached our house. I have my fingers crossed for today.

Laurie, great workouts. We had grubs a couple of years ago, and I had no idea what they were. DH dug up a section of the yard because the grass was dying and discovered them and, of course, wanted to show me. That is something I could have never seen in my life. So when I had an armadillo wander across the yard the other night (another thing I would prefer not to see again), I knew we had to do something. Thankfully DH had what we needed on hand and put it on the grass on Sunday and no more signs for armadillos or grubs. We used to get cranes in our yard in Florida. I love those birds.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were walking and CG Iron Day - 30 Arms, Abs and Core. This was the last workout of the Iron Series.
My legs are looking pretty good and my back as well. The little bra fat that I had is gone.

All the rain we were expecting came as two passing showers.

Laurie, great workout! Good for your DH to buy new weights and for getting up early to workout.
It must be nice to be able to see the cranes every year.

Laurel, great workout! Good job recognizing when you need to take it easy with the shoulders to prevent an injury.
    I hope you got rain.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

Such a beautiful morning around here, it was in the 60's with hardly any humidity. This morning my workout was another Move with Nicole. I did Pilates Cardio & Booty. After work will be our glutes workout, so thought that might be a good compliment.

Laurel, Great workouts! Got to love that LL workout for giving you some doms the next day. I don't know that I would ever want to met up with an armadillo, they are a strange looking creature. Of course that's what I say about the Possum that we have around here. We don't see them to much, since they are nocturnal. Glad that your DH had enough grub treatment on hand.

Thelma, Nice workouts! Congrats on finishing up the Iron series. :) Those little things that we notice doing these workout. ;) Glad to hear that you got some rain. I do have to wonder if these are the same two cranes that appear every year.

    Have a wonderful day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was CTX Power Circuit which included back and core. This was a really good workout. I have to admit, I have enjoyed this week so much more than I thought I would. I am glad I didn’t ignore it when it drew it out of my cup randomly for sure.

Thelma, great workouts. We did get some rain yesterday. Not as much as we need, but it did fall pretty hard for about 10 minutes, so it was good to see. And it is much cooler today, which is nice.

Laurie, great workouts. Sounds like a perfect summer morning up there. The armadillo creeped me out to be honest. I had to get pretty close to him before he skittered away, and right before he ran off he turned and stared at me. I, jokingly, told DH that it felt like he was trying to read my mind with that little helmet on his head and all. :D Some animals really need to stay nocturnal, and that is one of them.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Thursday were Tracy Steen Thighs and Booty, Walking, and Yoga.

Well the 'lots of rain' we were supposed to get never happened. We got 0.08" of rain! I just looked at the drought map and the northern part of our county is in severe drought and the rest of the county is in severe drought.

    Laurie, great workouts.
I bet those cranes are the same you see every year.

Laurel, great wrokout! I knew you'd enjoy this workout week!

OMG, I missed the part about your encounter with the armadillo! They're not native to GA, but people are seeing them here.

I'm glad you got a little rain. Things were definitely cooler here too.

    Have a great weekend!

    Morning Ladies,

After work it was Fuel Day 23 Glutes & Hamstrings Tempo. This was a tough one on the glutes, and in between each tempo section she did a sumo squat jump to sumo squat deadlift to the jump again. DH was having a hard time with the single leg hip thrusts, so I just told him to use both feet.

Next week we are leaving for MO for the car show. I showed DH some of the workouts that I found, and he was good with them. When he saw the 15 min. wall sit workout, he laughed. We have one workout on Saturday, and then the last week of Fuel when we get back.

Laurel, Nice job with those workouts, and enjoying the CTX series! Power Circuits was one of the workouts that I always enjoyed. Had a little of everything in the first section, but not to much step. :D LOL about the armadillo reading your mind. I'm sure that there is a movie about that type of experience. :D

Thelma, Great job with the workouts! Sorry to hear that you didn't get the much need rain that was predicted. That is the way we where last summer, everything was dry and in drought conditions.

    Have a wonderful week!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a fun 30 minute spin into CTX 10-10-10, which included triceps work. This really was a surprisingly enjoyable week of workouts. Next week….Pure Strength and Oldies!! Ever since Laurie mentioned Pure Strength a few weeks back, I have been hoping for them, so I’m happy.

Thelma, great workouts. We had just a brief unexpected shower last evening that lasted just a few minutes. We are in an extreme drought now. But it looks like we will get some rain here this afternoon. And the temperature right now (mid-day) is only 72! That’s crazy for July. I didn’t realize it, but until yesterday, we were over 90 for 28 straight days. And with no rain, it is little wonder everything is dying. I didn’t think we had armadillos here until a couple of years ago either. I wonder if, like alligators, they are migrating north because now we have alligators which is a new thing. I could do without both. :#

Laurie, great workout. I hope you have a great trip to Missouri. My encounter with the armadillo did remind me of a bad SyFy movie back in the days when they were doing all of those weird movies. Thankfully I held my ground and didn’t just run away from it. :D

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi ladies, I hope you had a good weekend. We had a nice weekend. It was a bit muggy, but we finally got some rain!
Friday night we got .8" and late Saturday night into Sunday morning we got 2.5" of rain! I can't believe we got 2.5" in on shot! It started raining pretty hard at about 10:50PM tonight again, but only for a few minutes.

My workouts on Friday were Yoga and walking.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Fuel Day 1 - Giant Leg Day. I was able to use my micro weights, which was great. I also used my weighted vest.

Laurie, great workouts! Great workouts! Those single legged hip thrusts are hard. Good idea to have your DH both feet.
I hope you saw CG's Sunday's letter to her community. She is announcing the release of her new travel program in CGX. Good job with your vacation week workout selection!
    Have a great vacation!

    Laurel, great workouts!

I'm sure you got rain, too because I saw that AL was included in the cold front map. 28 days in the 90's without rain! Wow! That is a very long time. Our grass is green again! We have alligators here, too. I don't know if these animals are migrating north, or they were brought up here by irresponsible people.

    Have a wonderful week!

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a good weekend. Ours was nice. Saturday was a rainy day so we ran a lot of errands, did some more cleaning out the attic and, when it was dry, did a little yard work. Yesterday, despite all of the rain in the forecast, we spent washing the windows. They really needed it. We had heavy rain both days and it was wonderful. And it looks like we are in for more throughout the week. Things are coming back to life thankfully.

For workouts, on Saturday I did 60 minutes of yoga. Yesterday, inspired by Laurie’s suggestion, I did the original Body Max workout. Today was Pure Strength Chest, Shoulders and Triceps, the abs work from Step Heat and a really good 45 minute spin.

Thelma, great workouts. I am so glad to hear you got some rain this weekend as well. It started raining Saturday when DH and I were sitting on the deck eating breakfast, and we just sat out there for the longest time enjoying the sound of it. So good to see. And our grass is almost back to normal again as well.

You might be right about people bringing alligators in from somewhere else. Last month when DH was gone for one of his trips, I was setting the table on our deck to eat dinner outside and a giant cat saunters out from underneath the deck and off into the wilderness behind us. I knew it wasn’t a house cat (too big and different structure) or a bobcat (it had a tail), so, by process of elimination and the fact another neighbor saw it and took a photo, I determined it was an Ocelot. And there is only one way an Ocelot would get to Alabama, and that is somebody bringing it here. But I am still wondering how it got to be roaming around our pretty small neighborhood. Nobody has reported seeing it since, so I think it is probably gone. But I really don’t need wild cats nearby along with all of the other critters we have!

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, we got .1" of rain on Sunday night and tonight the rain is coming down again. Thank God!

The Wallett household had a very exciting day today! DH finally told his boss about his retirement plans. He told her that his idea was to work part-time, he presented her with a solution on how to go about getting the budget for his p/t position and offered to stay on p/t for as long as she needed him to. He also told her that he'd like to go p/t as soon as possible. She was very supportive and told him that for him, she would make it happen! SOOOO happy!

I made this recipe for the first time tonight and it was amazing! It uses a Mexican seasoning I'd never used before called Ajin, which has lime flavor. Those pickled onions were delicious and who knew that the peach salsa was going to be such great complement to the shrimp! I added two skinless chicken thighs for extra protein without adding more seasoning. I just mixed the shrimp and chicken together and DH grilled them in a basket.
    https://www.skinnytaste.com/grilled-shrimp-tacos-with-peach-salsa/#recipe

My workouts on Monday were hot yoga, walking and CG Fuel Day 2 - UPPER BODY CIRCUITS & Cluster Sets. After this CG workout I now get why Laurie is losing her bat wings! OMG! Those clusters were 6 set of each move.
She had a move on her finisher that I considered dangerous for my back. It's called Chest to floor sprawl. I modified by doing a sort of burpee into pushup on the Bosu.

Laurel, great job with those workouts!

We are having the same weather. I'm so happy we're getting all this rain!

OMG! An ocelot in AL!!! I just read on Wikipedia that the eat armadillos!!

The ocelot is efficient at climbing, leaping and swimming. It prefers areas close to water sources with dense vegetation cover and high prey availability. It preys on small terrestrial mammals, such as armadillos, opossums, and lagomorphs. It is typically active during twilight and at night and tends to be solitary and territorial.

    Be careful when you're outside!

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Pure Strength Legs and Abs and a real blast from the past in the step work from Step Heat. This was the second Cathe workout I ever tried (26 years ago!), and I probably haven’t done it in over a decade. But it was really fun to revisit today. This was back when step was still relatively new, so the choreography was pretty basic and the pace was slower than some of her step workouts (like Body Max) that were just a couple of years older.

Thelma, great workouts!! And that is fantastic news about your DH! Congratulations. It sounds like a perfect balance that will give him something to do but not overwhelm his time. So wonderful! And thank you for the recipe. That looks fantastic. We had a little rain here yesterday but there was significant flooding just north of us (still in the city). Some areas got over 3” of rain. Today is just drizzly so far, but I will take it. Interesting that ocelots eat armadillos. Maybe I should have tried to keep it around. :D Just kidding. I was just happy that I was on the deck and hadn’t gone out to go in the yard when I startled it out from under the deck. I don’t know I would have reacted coming face to face with it.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Tuesday were Yoga, Walking and CG Fuel Day 3 - GLUTES & HAMSTRINGS Supersets.

We got 1.2" of rain on Monday night, but not much on Tuesday. By 8PM we'd only gotten .1". It is raining lightly tonight, so there may be a little more rain in the gauge tomorrow morning. I think we're doing with the bulk of the rain.

Laurel, great workouts! I am so glad you're enjoying working out to the oldies!

DH hopes to work in the afternoons once he retires. He wants his mornings for pickleball. I keep telling him that he should become a certified PB instructor. People are always asking him to coach them during private practices. He does it for free. I think he could get paid to do it.

I read that some areas south of here got flooded, too.

I hope you never come face to face with that ocelot. I would be making a lot of noise every time I went outside! LOL

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Pure Strength Back, Biceps and Abs and my favorite 45 minute spin. Both felt great today.

Thelma, great workouts. I like the sound of your DHs plan. Pickleball is so popular, I have no doubt he could probably charge for his lessons. Our rain has been on and off both yesterday and today. But I took a long walk around the yard, and everything is really beginning to look much healthier again. But I was thinking about you when I was feeding the birds and heard some rustling in the bushes. Thankfully it wasn’t an ocelot….just my squirrels being restless for me to get their food up. :D But I probably should be a bit more cautious when I am outside than I used to be between the ocelot and rattlesnake incidents this summer.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, my workouts on Wednesday were walking and CG Fuel Day 4 - Full Body Workout - PHA Training. I have gotten much better about the renegade rows. CG had makers in her finisher. I can't do those, and I was too exhausted to try, so I deconstructed the move. There were two sets of makers so on set one I did renegades and pushups, and on set two I did shoulder presses and pushups. Close enough! LOL

Sadly, we seem to be done with the rain. We only got .1" between Tuesday and Wednesday.

    Laurel, great workouts!

Sounds like you've gotten more rain than we have. There are high chances of thunderstorms in our forecast for the next seven days. Hopefully, we'll get more rain.

It's amazing how everything is looking so green and beautiful thanks to the rain.

Thank God it was just your squirrels making that noise in your yard! I would be stomping my feet on the deck and clapping loudly before I went down the stairs into the yard! LOL

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was Maximum Intensity Cardio. I really didn’t know how I would handle the first 30 minutes with a lot of high impact, but I modified where I could and that allowed me to get through the entire 75 minute workout without any problem. Still not my favorite workout for sure.

Thelma, great workouts. Great idea deconstructing the maker move. No doubt what you did was every bit as constructive. We are still getting some drizzly rain even today, but we seem to be past the nice consistent rain from over the weekend. But, thankfully, the temperatures are still below average because the humidity is really high. It would be unbearable if we were 10 degrees warmer for sure.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi ladies, I felt exhausted today and woke up with a kink on my back side. I've not been able to fix my back, no matter how much I've stretched or massaged. Hopefully, things will feel better tomorrow.

We actually got some rain this morning. We got .3" of rain and we're expected to get some rain tomorrow too. It didn't feel muggy like the past few days at all.

I hope the drizzle you got was enough to get things wet.

Laurel, great workout! Good modifying! I really feel that deconstructing the maker allowed me to perform each move properly.

    Have a great weekend!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was an easy 20 minute spin into Maximum Intensity Strength. DH is taking next week off so I am not sure how often I will be able to check in. I am going to do another week of Oldies because I do know we hope to head out of town for a few days and I didn’t want to start another series and not complete it. And I still have plenty of Oldies to do.

Thelma, I am so sorry your back is bothering you. Hopefully some rest will take care of it. I had no sooner posted that it didn’t look like we were going to get much more rain when it started raining yesterday and rained for hours. :o Totally not predicted. Hopefully things will dry up enough so we can get the lawn mowed soon because it is growing again for sure. I was out checking on my tomatoes earlier and almost stepped on a bunny in the yard who was bunkered down in our tall grass. I don’t mind coming across a bunny unlike some other stuff that can be hiding. :)

Enjoy the weekend and I will check in when I can.

Hi ladies, I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was busy as usual, but it was good.
Last week we got .3" of rain for the entire week. We got .6" on Sunday and may get more on Monday.

My back is still messed up. I definitely pulled something, so I'm being careful.

My workouts on Friday were yoga and walking.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - Walking, DUMBBELL CARDIO Workout - Giant Sets and stretching.

Laurel, I'm glad you got some rain too. We are still in moderate drought conditions.
I'm glad you didn't step on the bunny!
How wonderful that your DH is taking time off. I hope you have a wonderful time wherever you go!
    Fantastic workouts!

Laurie, I hope you had a great vacation.

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

We are back from Springfield, MO. It was a good trip, and we didn't have any problems with hauling the car to and from the site. Of course we where super busy, and I have a ton of things to get through this week. DH and I did manage to get some workouts done while on vacation, even through he was really busy.

Our workouts where Sunday of last week Day 24 Full Body Workout, Tuesday 20 Minute Bodyweight Leg Workout | Calisthenics Giant Sets, Wednesday 10 MIN ISOMETRIC UPPER BODY WORKOUT and yesterday we did Fuel Day 25 Dumbbell Cardio & HiiT. The rest of the week was getting ready for the judging and of course Sunday was our drive home day. I did take off work on Monday, just to have a day to myself.

I have to get going, so hope you body have a great day!
