Hi Ladies! Wednesday's workouts were walking and CG abs.

Laurie, great workouts! Not so great on that heat advisory, though. I hope you had a nice grandma time!
I hope Rhettie will get better with DH. He has gotten better. He is a velcro dog with me. LOL

    Laurel, great workouts!
Rhettie's siblings and mom are being taken care of by the lady who fostered him. She used to be a vet tech, so they are well taken care of.
I'm glad you got some rain. It does stink when the rain brings the humidity.

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Chest with bonuses, Cathe Live Low Impact Cardio HiiT and Peloton Pilates. It is a little cooler today and there is a breeze so I also went for a long walk which felt good. I figure I need to get my walks in when I can during this hot phase we are in.

Thelma, great workouts. I am happy to hear Rhett’s family is being taken care of. You made me laugh when you called him a Velcro dog. No doubt it is a bit of a pain sometimes to have a dog always attached to you, but it is such a good thing you are doing for him.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Thursday's workouts were walking and hot power yoga.
The most southern part of our county is yellow on the drought map, which means abnormally drought conditions. The chances of rain aren't very good at all. Our UV Index for the next week is extreme!

Laurel, great workouts! I'm glad you had a little cooler weather. You definitely need to get your walks in early in the morning.

Rhettie is definitely a Velcro dog. We've had to put a baby gate with a pet door in our bedroom door in order to keep the dogs out and let the cats eat in peace. He suffers when I don't let him in the bedroom and patiently waits for me on the other side of the gate.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope your AC system gets properly fixed on Friday.

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 60 minute spin and Peloton yoga. The guys are here fixing our AC as I type. Fingers crossed it works since we are headed towards 100 degrees next week. I am not looking forward to that.

Thelma, great workouts. I haven’t checked our drought situation recently, but I did notice on my walk yesterday that a pond that had completely dried up the last two years was still full. I take that as a good sign, though that may change over the next few weeks. I am glad you have a system to keep Rhettie away from your cats when they are eating. I hope they are all getting along otherwise.

    See you Monday.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a good weekend. Ours was very busy and I'm thankful we survived the weekend.

We didn't get a single drop of rain. Our chances of rain aren't good. The forecast for the week says things like a stray thunderstorm, a little rain, a couple of showers. Not good!

Friday's workouts were sculpting and restorative yoga. The sculpting class was tough. The instructor killed our abs and inner thighs.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Epic Heat Day 7 - Flaming Legs.

Laurel, great workouts. I hope your AC system is working now.

I agree with you that the fact that the pond near you is still full of water is a good sign.

Our dogs and cats get along very well. My only worry with Rhettie is that he's attracted to the chickens. He always has to be on a leash when we go out.

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

Can't believe how busy we have been lately. I had to get my nephews quilt finished. We left for up north on Friday, and that is the day that I received the quilt back from the long arm quilter. I was able to get the binding on before we left and then I was hand stitching the binding once we got to our hotel. I had to finish it the next morning. It looked great, but I don't want to be that close to the finish line again. I think that the long armer and I had the dates mixed up. I'm just glad that she was able to finish it by Friday.

We had a great time with the boys, and then we had to head to their house on Thursday because dd left some the bouncer and other things at our house.

DH has more test this week, so crossing our fingers that we get some more information for moving forward.

For workouts I did 2.0 Tri Sets Total Body on Thursday, LITE Cardio Party on Friday. No workouts on Saturday or Sunday and this morning was 2.0 Giant Sets Total Body. Through all that I have been getting in my yoga also.

Laurel, Great job with all the workouts! Hope that your AC is running, it is really humid around here so I hope that you are able to get relief from the heat. Has to be hard to workout in the 100's even with the ac on. I'm soaked in our basement with our humidity.

Thelma, Awesome job with all the workouts! Rhett must have a little prey drive in him if he is interested in the chickens. 😀

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours started off insane but ended very wonderfully. I cannot begin to describe what an absolute fiasco Friday was with the AC guys. But it involved having to get the city utility workers out to get power back on in our house. And the first team of AC workers got their truck stuck in our driveway and we had to get that fixed. And I say ‘we’ because things were so far off the rails that I had to call DH, which I HATE doing when he is at work, who ended up coming home. He got the first AC team out of here by fixing their truck, and when the second team arrived, he is the one who ended up telling the guys how they needed to wire our AC units. So calling DH home was a good choice because if he hadn’t been here, I think we would have spent at least one night without power or AC. Suffice it to say, DH is going to be having a chat with a few people about this. I mean, a project that was supposed to take two hours took ten instead with the customer being the one who fixed it. Not a stellar moment.

Saturday we spent on chores so yesterday was free for playing golf, and that is what we did. And despite the heat, it was such a wonderful day. And a great way to finish/start the week.

For workouts, on Saturday I did 2.0 Body Part Triceps with bonuses and Peloton yoga. Sunday was 2.0 Body Part Biceps with bonuses, Cathe Live Low Impact Cardio HiiT and core and yoga from Peloton. Today was a 45 minute spin and LMR Functional Yoga Fusion.

Thelma, great workouts. And I am glad you survived the weekend. Our forecast is the same as yours though right now they are expecting cooler temperatures next weekend. Thankfully we have had a bit of a breeze which helped make this weekend more tolerable than I was expecting. I am glad Rhett gets along with everybody minus the chickens.

Laurie, great workouts! You are doing some fantastic workouts right now. Sounds like a very busy weekend, but I am glad you were able to get the quilt done on time. But, no doubt, it is much more fun to finish projects like that a little more comfortably than that. I hope your DH gets some answers and relief this week. My fingers will definitely be crossed for you both.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Monday's workouts were walking, hot power yoga and CG Epic Heat Day 9 - Back and Biceps.

We got 0.3 inches of rain on Monday afternoon. It got pretty windy before the rain. It didn't cause damage here. We have chances of the same thing happening Tuesday afternoon. There was a nice cool breeze after the storm, and it almost felt like fall.

    Laurie, great workouts!
I'm glad you had a great time with the grand babies. Congrats on finishing your nephew's quilt!
I hope your DH's tests provide his doctors the answers they need to proceed with proper treatment for your DH.

Rhettie must have a little prey drive in him. I take him near the chickens every day to get him used to them. I need to take him to the coop when the chickens are in there more often so he can sniff all he wants.

Laurel, what a nightmare with that AC installation! I don't know why but handy people aren't very good here in the south. Thank God your DH was able to leave work to go home to save the day. I'm so glad you were able to enjoy a day of golf on Sunday.

    Great workouts!
I hope you got some rain too.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning was my yoga and P30 Low Impact HiiT. I didn't do as much hopping as Cathe and crew, but I got in a good workout.

Laurel, Love all the workouts! So glad to hear that you where able to get a golf session in despite how your Friday went. Can't believe the ac debacle. That is crazy that your DH is the one that had to be the contractor on the job. To have your whole house not having power for an ac installation is crazy. So glad to hear that you are now set.

Thelma, Awesome workouts! Nice that you had some cooler weather. Tomorrow is going to be in the 70's so that will be a nice change of pace for us. Good idea getting Rhett used to the chickens by letting him sniff to his hearts content. Is Rhett the only one of your dogs that is into sniffing things? Our previous dog and now Rocket is a sniffer. Chasing squirrels is fun too.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Legs and Bonuses, a timesaver premix from Step Boss Step Sync, and core and yoga from Pilates. We are under an extreme heat warning with ‘feels like’ temps over 110. We just had a pop up rain shower, so with that extra humidity, if we do reach the predicted 97 degrees today, there is no doubt it will feel like they are predicting. But only a few more days until the temperatures come down a bit.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you got a nice storm through yesterday to cool things off. We were still able to sit outside for and after dinner last night, but we needed the fan on and it was pretty toasty. Hopefully we can be out there tonight. We have been getting quite a show each evening with the deer coming through in herds and a mama and three baby raccoons showing up as well. It is kind of funny when the baby deer are trying to figure out what the raccoons are. Mama raccoon does not enjoy that at all.

Laurie, great workouts. I really enjoy that Low Impact workout because it is easy to make more no impact if needed. The worst part about the power in the house going out is the AC guys would not accept it was them that knocked it out. So they left it to me to try to figure out how to fix it which is why I had the utilities out and, eventually, DH. But we know it was them because when we got the power back on, we tried their install again, and it knocked the power out. DH is still alarmed at how much electricity they are to pump into our system to get that result. In fact, it burned up one of our surge protectors. Kinda scary actually.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Tuesday's workouts were walking, Yin and CG Abs. I don't know how hot it was today but it was super hot and humid.

Monday's high winds caused damage in the area and there were 1700 homes without power.

I went outside tonight at about 8:45pm and there was a weird light. It was as if I had yellow lense glasses on. It was kind of eerie.

    Laurie, great workouts!
    Enjoy those cooler temps!

Rhettie is the only sniffer. We don't want him to chase anything. I decided to train him to walk on the treadmill. He was scared but I hope he'll get used to it.

    Laurel, great workouts!
We are having the same weather. I can't wait for those cooler temperatures!
You are so fortunate getting those special wildlife shows!
I don't blame you and your DH to be alarmed at how much electricity the AC guys were pumping into your house in order to knock the power out.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

Rainy day here today. Our temps will hopefully be going down after this. DH has gone to his appointment this morning. They are taking out the catheter and then he has to go back at 2pm to see how that went. Right now he is at our oldest dd's, and after I'm done here I will be heading there also.

This morning was yoga and 2.0 Standing Abs: Metabolic Core Warm Up & Active Recovery. I like the combo of those workouts.

Laurel, Nice workouts! I hope that heat didn't get to bad yesterday for you. Sounds like you have a very active back yard. Our back yard is so dark that you can't see anything. That is very scary that your surge protector was fried after that. We had a house fire fairly close to us. It wasn't electrical, but still scary. The lawn mower blew up in the garage. 😮 Still can't imagine how that happened, and I'm glad that DH keeps the mower in the shed.

Thelma, Great combo of workouts! For sure the humidity really gets you on days like that. I was outside yesterday doing some gardening. Sweat was pouring off of me, and I only stayed out for about an hour. Couldn't take anymore that that. Good idea to not let Rhett chase. Rocket does chase, but he stays in our yard. Our previous dog wouldn't listen to me at all, and would take off.😐️

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Shoulders with bonuses and Gloved Up and Sweaty which was really fun today. I finished it with Peloton yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. I hope everybody has their power back from the storm. It has been really hazy here the last few days, and I have been thinking it is the humidity. But maybe there is something else going on that explains the weird tint you saw. I know there are a lot of fires burning across the country, so maybe we are getting a little smoke from that. They just extended our heat advisory through tomorrow….so one more day again.

Laurie, great workouts. I bet they made for a great combo. I hope all goes well with your DH and his appointment this afternoon. Somebody’s mower blew up. Yikes!! We can’t have a shed (HOA rules) so everything with gas is in the garage. So something new to worry about I suppose. 😂 Our backyard has been exceptionally active this summer. Last night we were watching the deer and rabbits grazing when a lone squirrel ran from our neighbors yard into ours and launched himself on to one of our bird feeders which had seed and all of the other animals scattering everywhere. He jumped down and ran back to wherever he came from like that was his purpose. Silly squirrel. At least the deer came back after a few minutes.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Wednesday's workouts were walking and CG Epic Heat Day 9 - Full Body Calisthenics. This workout was my least favorite so far because some excises were too advanced for me.

We are getting serious rain here! It's pouring out! As of 8PM we'd gotten 2.6 inches of rain and it's raining pretty hard now. We may have more than 4 inches by now. This storm system definitely brought cooler air. It felt so good! We may have more thunderstorms the rest of the week.

    Laurie, great workouts!
I hope your DH felt better after the catheter was removed and that the doctor had some answers for him.

We took Rhettie to his first visit with our vet. She said she'd like to wait to neuter him because he was on the thin side. Now we have to fatten him up. He did great at the clinic, but I think it was because I was there holding him. I hate it when the vets taken them to another room to do bloodwork and shots. We're not letting him out without his leash. He's gotten better about responding to me when I say no. He barks at DH every time he enters the room, I'm in. LOL. He quiets down fairly quickly now when I say NO.

How scary about your neighbor's lawn mower blowing up in the garage!

    Laurel, great workouts!
I think the people without power the other day are back online, but who knows after the rain we're getting tonight. It's not windy though, but there's an area in the county that has power outages all the time.
Sorry your heat advisory was extended. We had a very nice day here. I hope you're getting some of the rain we're getting here.
I never found an explanation for the weird yellow tint I saw. I haven't heard anything about any smoke from fires, but it is quite possible. I really don't think this was smoke related.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

We had a nice visit with dd and the boys yesterday. Gave her a little break. Both boys are doing well, and the little one is getting heavy. Had rain all day yesterday, so the temps around here are wonderful.

DH's non cath test didn't go well yesterday, so he has that back. Next week there will be more tests and then they will tell us what options he has. Yesterday was just making sure that he would be able to function without the cath.

My workouts this morning was yoga and 2.0 Upper Body 1. I like the variation in this rotation.

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! LOL about the squirrel, they sure do have personalities to them. They love to tease the dog, but then seem to forget that Rocket is fast. 😀 I was totally surprised about the lawn mower blowing up. Can't imagine what may have been wrong with the engine that the gas tank would get hot enough to do that. Had to have some type of spark, or some dry grass started on fire.

Thelma, Nice job with the workouts! I never enjoyed those type of workouts all that much. Of course they are really good for catching those muscles that we don't think about, but they can be really tough on some moves. Hope that you are able to fatten Rhett up enough to have surgery. Not that he will be happy with the surgery though.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 45 minute spin and LMR Functional Pilates Fusion.

Thelma, great workouts, but that calisthenics workout sounds tough. That is not my favorite form of exercise by far. I am so glad you got some rain!! We were dry and hot all day. Today is only slightly cooler, but we do have a chance for rain this afternoon. I have my fingers crossed for that for sure. We are supposed to be in the low 80s by Sunday which will probably feel chilly. I can’t wait.

Laurie, great workouts. I love the workouts you have been doing on this rotation. I may have to look into that one after I finish my current rotation. I kind of want to stay with the 2.0 workouts for a little while longer, but I don’t want to do a rotation of just 2.0. I am so sorry things didn’t go well for your DH yesterday. Hopefully next week finally brings some answers and a way forward. Glad you were able to spend time with your grandsons and had a cool rainy day as well.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Thursday's workouts were walking and warm power yoga.

Monday, we got 0.3 inches of rain, 4.6 on Wednesday night and 1.4 Thursday afternoon! We are also expecting a cold front this weekend.

Laurie, great workouts! I'm glad you had a good visit with the grand babies.
I'm sorry your DH still needs a catheter. I hope the tests next week will provide the answers needed to determine the proper treatment.

I have done Calisthenics before but nothing like yesterday's workouts. She did Bulgarians into declined pushups. Crazy!

    Laurel, great workouts!

I hope you got some rain on Thursday. People here can't wait for the cold front. I think our temps are going to be between mid to high 70s.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

    Morning Ladies,

Yesterday was beautiful despite the smoke from Canada. The only thing I noticed is that my eyes where itchy, and that is probably because I spent a good deal of time outside enjoying the weather. This morning it was really cool out, guess August is here.

I don't know how much I will be online next week. We are having our kitchen floor worked on. We have to be out of the house because of the fumes. We will be staying with one of the girls, and starting with the oldest. DH says if the kids get to be to much we will head to the youngest dd's. 😂

My workouts where yoga and 2.0 Lower Body 1.

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! I still have to try those LMR workouts, just needed something familiar to start out with. I think that this low impact option is a good one. I probably will not be doing the next low impact workout. I think a good boxing workout is a better option. DH really wants this decided, but they have to make sure that all options are looked at before surgery.

Thelma, Love the workouts! Hope that you get those much cooler temps like we are having, it is a nice change of pace from the heat for sure.

    Have a great weekend,

    Lauire

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Back with bonuses, Cathe Live Boom Boom POW Kickbox (which is always fun) and core and yoga from Peloton.

Thelma, great workouts! Yes, we finally got some rain yesterday afternoon. It probably was less than .5” but I will take it. We may get more today and over the weekend as the temperatures fall. I thought today was going to be cooler. Then I went outside to water plants and it didn’t feel cool at all. Our ‘feels like’ temp was 96, and this was mid-morning. So not much relief today yet.

Laurie, great workouts. I really hope all goes well with your floor next week. Just in case you want to start thinking about LMR, my favorites are the mobility workouts (both of them) and the yoga workouts (both of them). Of the strength workouts, I think the upper body is my favorite closely followed by the total body. The bootcamp is pretty good for a recovery workout that hits the entire body. My least favorite are the Pilates workout (because it isn’t Pilates) and the lower body workout (boring). Everything else lies somewhere in between. Enjoy your time with your DDs. 🙂

    Have a good weekend.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a good weekend. We had a another busy but good weekend.

We got 0.4 inch on Friday night. It' rained pretty hard for a little while Saturday afternoon and we got 3.5 inches in a short period o time! I checked at 10 PM and we were up to 4.4 inches. We got 11 inches between Monday and Saturday! The final total for Saturday was 4.6 inches.
Saturday was muggy but Sunday felt like early fall. It didn't rain on Sunday.

My workouts on Friday were sculpting yoga and walking.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Epic Heat Day 11 - Glutes and Hamstrings. This was a brutal glute attack! Ouch! CG did what she called 'glute activation' for 6 minutes with a fabric loop above our knees. My glutes were on fire just from the band segment, then she moved on to the real hip thrusts!

Laurie, great workouts. I'm sorry you're getting some of the Canadian fires smore though.

I hope everything goes smoothly with your kitchen floors and your stay at your DD's.

Laurel, great workouts! I'm glad you got a little rain last Thursday. I hope you got more rain and cooler air over the weekend.

    Have a great week!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was good. Saturday was spent on house and yard chores and some errands. It was a cooler day though outrageously humid. And, unfortunately, no rain for us. Yesterday we decided to play golf despite the fact rain was forecast for the day. I’m glad we didn’t trust the forecast because, again, no rain. But the cooler temperature and lack of people due to the forecast made it about as good a day as you can get in Alabama in August for golf. Today is cool and cloudy and we have yet to see any rain still.

For workouts, on Saturday I did 2.0 Body Part Chest with bonuses, LITE Cardio Party and core and yoga from Peloton. Yesterday was a 60 minute spin and 2.0 Total Body Stretch. Today was 2.0 Triceps with bonuses, Fit Split Mixed Impact Cardio, 20 minutes of Peloton core (which closes out my second 4 week core program with Peloton) and yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. Good job doing all that work with a fabric band. I have a serious love hate relationship with fabric bands for sure. I am glad you have been getting so much rain. I sure wish we would, though the cooler temperatures are wonderful. July was the second hottest July on record in Huntsville with only one day with a high below 90 (the high was 89). I knew it was warm, but how warm really surprised me. We set records for high ‘low’ temperatures on three days, and those warm lows are what really drove the average temperature. I was telling DH the other day that when I go out first thing in the mornings, it feels more like Florida than I really care for. I guess I was right in how I was feeling those mornings. I am officially looking forward to autumn now. 🙂

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Monday's workouts were walking, warm power yoga and CG Epic Heat Day 12 - Antagonistic Pairing Upper Body.

No rain on Monday. Our chances of rain are very high for the entire week. Monday felt like fall.

Laurel, great workouts! I'm so glad you took the risk and went to play golf. I'm sorry you didn't get any rain though.
Thank goodness for cooler temps because it's been really warm for you in AL. Summertime in FL is horribly hot and humid. I'm sorry it's been feeling like FL there.

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Biceps and Bonuses and XTrain All Out Low Impact HiiT.

Thelma, great workouts. That upper body workout sounds interesting. Yesterday ended up being surprisingly cool all day. I even had to put on a long sleeve shirt to sit outside last night. But I think we are going to slowly warm up the rest of the week.

I won’t be here tomorrow. DH and I are headed to Nashville tonight to see a concert, but I will be back on Thursday.

Hi Ladies! Tuesday's workouts were Yin and walking.

No rain Tuesday either. Temps in the 80's will return Wednesday and the humidity on Thursday. I am not looking forward to the humidity. Thursday will be the day with better chances of rain for us.

Laurel, great workouts! I hope you and your DH have a wonderful time at the concert!

Hi Ladies! Wednesday's workouts were walking and CG Epic Heat Day 12 - Lower Body Iso and Plyo Combo. This workout was mostly body weight. It was hard!

The humidity was back by Wednesday afternoon. I am not looking forward to the next 7-10 days because they'll be hot and humid. We got 0.5 inches of rain in the early evening. It was a nice surprise, and it watered the plants and grass.

Hi Ladies! DH and I had a nice time in Nashville. We were only there for about 15 hours, but it felt like a nice little getaway. We came home early yesterday so we could take advantage of DHs day off by playing golf. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately DH is going into several weeks of travel again, so we need to take advantage of the time while we have it.

For workouts, all I did yesterday was yoga. Today’s workout was 2.0 Body Part Legs with bonuses, 2.0 Mini Ball Abs, 4DS Kickbox and Peloton yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. We left Nashville yesterday at 8am and it was 85 and sunny. When we got home, it was cloudy and 74. Just weird. But the clouds cleared in the afternoon and the humidity and the heat kicked back in. We never did get any discernible rain in all those days of clouds, unfortunately. But, like you, we are back to hot and humid for the foreseeable future.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Thursday's workout were walking and warm power yoga.

We got a 1/2 inch of rain on Thursday night the weather turned cool again. I was wearing shorts and a sleeveless t-shirt and I was a little chilly.

Laurel, I'm so glad you and your DH had a nice getaway and even made time for golf! Great workouts!

I'm sorry your DH has to start traveling again.

This hot and humid tropical air is also bringing the possibility of daily thunderstorms. I hope they're the mild kind although two trees fell on a friends' property. Once smashed a corner of their front porch and the other one smashed their handicap ramp Thursday afternoon. It was a little windy here but nothing bad at all.

    Have a great weekend!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a tough one. I started with 2.0 Body Part Shoulders and bonuses. Then I did a 45 minute spin. I have been doing program on Peloton called power zone rides, which is working on endurance and improving aerobic capacity. There are seven zones—1 being the easiest, 7 the toughest—and most of the rides work in zones 2, 3 and 4. Today’s 45 minute ride was in zones 5, 6, and 7. While the time in those zones was shorter duration, it was still pretty tough. But I did it, and that makes me happy. I followed it with Peloton yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. We had a very brief storm through last night as well that cooled the temperature off quite a bit. Unfortunately the amount of rain we got was literally a few drops. But, like you, we have the daily risk of storms. I am sorry to hear your friends have had damage from trees falling. We have a house on the street behind us that was hit really hard by trees earlier this summer. They are still working on the repairs. No doubt one of my biggest concerns living here is storms and trees falling.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a good weekend. Ours was good but busier than usual. I feel like I need another weekend to recover!
We didn't get any rain over the weekend. This week has 80% chances of thunderstorms Monday through Thursday.

My workouts on Friday were walking and sculpting Pilates.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Epic Heat Day 14 - Unforgiving Total Body. This was a very complete workout. Sometimes total body workouts don't seem to cover everything. This one did.

Laurel, great workouts! Good job with that power zones rides program! Very impressive!

I hope you had better luck with the rain the last few days. I also worry about trees falling on our house.

    Have a wonderful week!

    Morning Ladies,

Sorry I wasn't online all last week it was crazy around here. On Monday our floor was sanded, and I went with the dd's to the State Fair. We had a good time and the boys where fairly good. Of course we ate our way through the fair, had to taste some of the new foods. DH said that the stain was very smelly so we wouldn't be staying at home. We stayed at the oldest dd's place, and it was nice. I helped with the boys and DH came back to the house. During this time Rocket wouldn't go potty at all. We stayed at the oldest dd's to help put the oldest to bed. My SIL had to work, and we are retired. What else do we have to do. We couldn't move our refrigerator or stove back into the kitchen until Thrusday, so I wasn't cooking either.

Then on Saturday we had the flood warnings, and the water just kept coming. We had about 5-6 inches of rain, so not as bad as other areas around here that received 13 inches. We had thunderstorms last night and they are saying more for tonight. I wasn't able to workout on Monday or Tuesday. I did a boxing workout with Kelly on Saturday. On Wednesday I did 2.0 Upper Body 2, Thursday Lower Body 2, Friday Mobility 2, Saturday I did Super Sets Total Body and Sunday was off. I skipped a low impact hiit workout during that timeframe. This morning was LIS Low Impact Challenge. I also got in my yoga.

Laurel, Great job with all those workouts! Sorry to hear that your DH has to be travelling again. Nice that you where able to have a little getaway in Nashville. If I could I would send some of this water your way. We have standing water all over the place, and roads that are washed out. Getting to doggy daycare this morning was interesting.

Thelma, You are rocking the workouts! Our kitchen floor turned out beautifully. I now have a floor that doesn't have nail polish and glitter glue on it from when the girls where doing nails and doing school projects. I hope that your area gets the rain, but not the torrential that we had this weekend.

    Have a great day!
