    Hey Ladies,

Just wanted you to know that I'm doing okay. This week I had a surprise, and it was that I was training someone this whole week. I will get caught up at some point with the thread.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LITE Cardio Party and Calorie Crush, the Functional Core Bonus from LMR and 20 minutes of yoga.

Thelma, I’m sorry about the yoga class. That must have been frustrating. I am also sorry your electrician couldn’t get there. But the fact you didn’t have any issues yesterday with the circuits is good. We didn’t get much rain yesterday either but it is so humid everything is wet. I saw a chart that we are 3” above normal in rain fall for the year right now, which is such good news. But I really don’t want severe storms right now because when the ground is this wet, that is when the fully-leaved trees start tumbling. Here’s hoping those storms stay away this weekend.

Laurie, thank you for checking in. I admit…..I worry. 😎 Hope the training goes well and you feel good about leaving everything in somebody else’s hands at the end of the month.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, my first PT went well. I'd found a PT video that basically showed exactly what I think is happening with my scapula and it has to do with a tight ribcage. Anyway, my PT watched the video and understood what I was talking about. He helped me to loosen my ribs up. He basically hugged me from behind while I was sitting on the table and moved my upper body around and pushed on my ribs. He said he actually heard them crack. I could tell he'd loosen me up because I was breathing better. I've had chiropractors as recently as last month tell me my rib cage is tight. I didn't know how big of roll the ribs play in the scapula mechanics. When the front of the rib cage is tight it affects the internal rotation, which is my problem. The back of the rib cage affects external rotation.

I can do upper body work except overhead presses.
My workouts on Wednesday were walking and CG Epic Heat - Shoulders. The first set of moves were overhead presses, so I did ab work instead. Everything else I was able to do or modify. I used 2 and 3 lb. weights.

We got a little rain in the morning, and it sounds like it is raining now.

We still haven't been able to get the TVs to trip the breakers. The electricians were here today and replaced the four breakers that were tripped by the TVs.

Laurie, there you are! I thought you were traveling, but I didn't remember you saying anything about a trip. Sorry you got a surprise trainee! DH has started his brain dump too!

    Laurel, great workouts!
Getting ready to go to a yoga class and not have an instructor show up was definitely frustrating.
We really have had a lot of rain. I found an app that shows rain totals and last month we got 6.75" and this month so far, we've gotten 4.72"
I hear you about not wanting severe storms because the ground is already saturated.

I do feel better that we haven't been able to trip the breakers again. I hope it won't happen again.

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LITE Stacked Sets Lower Body, a 20 minute spin and Peloton yoga. DH has been gone this week (for the first time in a couple of months) which means everything is going wrong around the house. The worst thing is we apparently have a creature trapped in our attic located right over the bedroom and it ‘digs’ all night long. This started on Monday, and I think me going into the attic to try to find it would result in more harm (to me) than any good that would come out of it. 😎 DH agreed, but told me to wait until he gets home so he can check it out before we call anybody. So I have had little sleep this week. I ended up in the spare bedroom last night, but that didn’t help much. So today’s workout was definitely on the lighter side. Thankfully DH is back today.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you had a good PT appointment and that you are good to work shoulders minus overhead presses. Honestly if I never had to do overhead presses again, I think I might be okay. Over the last six months or so I have decided that is one move I won’t push too much weight on because it is the one that hurts my shoulder the most, especially in the front shoulder/bicep area. Hopefully you can get back to them if you want without causing pain. I’m glad your TVs are working without tripping the breakers. Hopefully that was just a weird situation that won’t repeat itself.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! My workouts on Thursday were walking, and hot yoga. I was exhausted on Thursday. I was really dragging. I allowed myself to take a nap in the afternoon.

My shoulder feels much better. Not because of the PT, I just think things are healing after all this time. The scapula feels better, but I know it's still an issue. The bicep tendonitis is also better but it's still an issue. The thing that I'm having the hardest time with is the internal rotation problem.

Laurel, great workouts! I agree on overhead shoulder presses. I'll have to ask the PT for an alternative for this exercise. I just read that incline and Arnold shoulder presses, as well as landmines are good alternatives. I like the Arnold presses a lot. I tried a landmine today with just a broom stick and I liked how it felt.

I'm so sorry you have a critter up in your attic! I hope your DH is able to get it. You need a trap, though.

I hope we won't have any crazy weather this weekend.

Have a wonderful weekend and good luck catching that critter.

    Morning Ladies,

We had some weather yesterday, but nothing was damaged in our area. There where some areas in the western areas of the state that had tornados. We just had the wind and very heavy rain.

I'm done training for this week, don't know if there will be more next week. I'm really uncertain as to what is actually happening, but then again it will not be my problem 7 days from now. 😁

DH and I have been keeping up with our workouts, and I have been able to get in a yoga workout every day except for Sunday (Mother's Day). We went to dd's house, playing with and holding the grandsons is the best MD ever.

Laurel, Of course great job with all the workouts! OMG on the animal in your attic, that really has to be annoying and hope it isn't causing any damage. Of course these things will happen when the DH is away.

Thelma, You also are really rocking it, and I'm so glad to hear that your shoulder is improving despite the PT. I was thinking of you yesterday when the EHS department came in and informed us that a cat was in one of our buildings. My trainee was at the door of the building when I was leaving work. She was trying to coax the cat out. She apparently is a big lover of cats.

    Have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LITE Stacked Sets Upper Body, a 45 minute spin and 10 minutes of core focused yoga. It is very hot and humid here today, so the spin felt brutal. It always takes me a while to adjust to the humidity when it kicks in. But I got through it.

Thelma, great workouts. Sorry to hear you were dragging a bit yesterday. I was there with you for sure. I am glad your shoulder is feeling better though. When DH got home last night he went into the attack and saw no signs of any critter there. So the good news is there was no obvious damage. But the bad news is we have no clue what is making the noise. He put traps in both the attic and the crawl space, so we’ll see what happens. But last night was quiet…..or we both slept through the noise.

Laurie, glad you are done with the training this week. You are probably down to counting hours now! I know I would be. I am glad you got to spend some time with your grandsons this weekend. I’m sorry your weather was so bad yesterday. Hopefully it clears up for a nice weekend. Great job with the workouts.

    Enjoy the weekend.

Hi Ladies. I hope you had a nice weekend. Ours was good and collected 1/2" of rain. It doesn't look like we'll have much rain this week.

My workouts on Friday were yoga and walking.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and Tracy Steen Legs.

PT went well on Friday. I had a new PT and he is really good. He does cupping, but instead of cups he uses plungers as in the kind you would use for a sink or toilet. LOL. I got plunged! LOL. I had a plunger stuck to my shoulder. and bicep. I walked in there with an irritated tendonitis and walked out of there feeling healed. Of course, today I feel like my shoulder is rolling forward.

Laurie, great job keeping up with your workouts!
Is this your last week of work? if so, how exciting!! I'm so happy for you and congratulations!

I'm so glad your area wasn't affected by the bad weather last week.

Sounds like your company has a new mascot! LOL.

Laurel, great workouts! Thank God we haven't had any humid days yet here
I'm glad your DH didn't find any signs of critter damage. There has to be an entry point somewhere though. I hope the traps catch the critter!

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

We had a very busy weekend. Oldest DD wanted to get out of the house so we went shopping with the boys. Overall it went well, and both of the boys where very good. So that was my Saturday, and Sunday was just cold and windy, so my time was spent cleaning up my sewing space. Have to do that every once in a while. 😉

The only workouts that I did this weekend and this morning was yoga. Didn't think that I would be enjoying Adriene's sessions so much. She takes her time, and of course makes me laugh. In one of the workouts she called her dog a breathing bump. He was at the end of her mat, so she just put her legs over him. 😂

Laurel, Great job with those workouts! I have to say that I'm really loving this temperature drop. We also had that high humidity up until Friday evening. Right now we have 50's which may be just a little to cold, but sure is a lot better sleeping at night. DH doesn't want to put on the ac until after memorial day. I'm still working with the days until retirement, but next week for sure will be hours since I only have two days to work.

Thelma, Love all the workouts! Glad that your PT session went so well. Interesting that he used a plunger and that it was effective. I will not know until tomorrow if my trainee captured the cat. She is on vacation today.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! It sounds like you both enjoyed the weekend. Ours was pretty busy. The weather was hot and humid on Saturday but since it was the first weekend day without rain in a few weeks, we tackled a lot of outdoor chores. It was exhausting, but it also felt good to get some of the worst chores done with for another year. Yesterday the weather was a little more iffy, so we did a blend of indoor and outdoor chores plus an errand to the garden center because I decided I needed a couple more plants. I have my eye out still for a bougainvillea or two when they go on sale but aside from that, I think my plant buying is done for the season. Maybe. 😎

For workouts, on Saturday I did 60 minutes of yoga. Yesterday was a 20 minute spin into Cathe’s live class from last week which was Total Body Torch. I finished with 20 minutes of yoga. Today was a 60 minute spin and 30 minutes of core focused yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad the PT went well, and the ‘plunging’ sounds interesting. We still haven’t found our critter yet, but we think we have something in our AC vents. DH put traps down in the areas we last heard the critter, but that was Saturday morning. But DH hasn’t seen any signs of damage anywhere, so we are kind of in a wait and see mode right now. At least whatever it is isn’t keeping us awake.

Laurie, great workouts. I am glad you are enjoying the yoga. I bet your DD enjoyed her day out with you. I’m glad it went well with the little ones. Right now I would love a cold night. Our highs have been in the 80s with lows in the 70s, and it feels more like July than May. My workout room has consistently been as warm as I keep it (78) for about a week now. I am not quite ready for this yet to be honest. But I don’t think I have a choice. 🙂

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Monday's workouts were walking and Tracy Steen Arms. I didn't have a good scapula day. It bugged me all day long. I have PT tomorrow afternoon.

Well today I got SureSmile aligners for my teeth because they had started to move and it was freaking me out. I will use 22 sets of aligners, and the process should be completed in March of 2026. The only thing that is a pain is cooking and not being able to taste the food when I need to. Every time I eat something I have to brush or at least rinse my mouth. I have to wear the aligners 22 hours a day. They will also act as mouth guards. I grind my teeth at night, so I don't have to wear my night guard anymore.

I woke up to rain this morning, which was a nice surprise, and today I felt the humidity for the first time this year. We may be in for some interesting weather tomorrow night and Wednesday morning. Hopefully, it won't be bad for us.

Laurie, great workouts! Sounds like you had a great weekend. I'm sure it was a lot of fun spending time with the babies.

    Great workouts!

Laurel, great workouts! What a busy weekend you two had! Good job! I hope you'll be able to find the bougainvillea plants on sale. My friend in FL has them growing all over the place!
    Great workouts!

I'm sorry you haven't been able to catch the critter! Do you also hear the sounds during the day? If you have an old cell phone around, you might want to use it as a critter cam, so you can see what you're dealing with.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

No workout yesterday, DH was at the youngest dd's condo creating a door into her garage. Can't believe that the previous owners didn't have two egresses. DH was really tired when he got home, so we will have to do a workout on Friday. I'm probably going to take a half day so will get it in earlier than we usually do.

This morning was another yoga session. 😉

Laurel, Nice workouts! Good job on the 60 min. of yoga. I sure do hope that you catch that critter, that has to be super annoying listening to the creature running around. Must be a night creature since you are hearing it at bedtime. I sure do feel for you with that heat and working out. The weather we are having right now is pretty normal for us. Right now it is raining and cold. 🙄

Thelma, Good job with the workouts! Take care, and hope your PT goes well. Wow 22 hours a day, but that is so nice that you are able to use them instead of the mouth guard. Those aligners seem so much easier than having braces.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was a 20 minute spin into LITE PHA 2, Core 1 and 10 minutes of Peloton yoga. It has been a long while since I did a PHA workout, so it was fun for today for sure.

Thelma, great workouts. Hopefully the PT helps your scapula. The teeth aligners sound interesting. Hopefully they work, but I would imagine it will take some getting used to. We put out cameras but no critters. We think the critter is in the ducts in our crawl space and if that is the case, we won’t see it. DH went down to see if he could remove the duct from the vent, but it would be way hard. So he has dropped traps down in the vents we heard it from last on Saturday but nothing yet. I think it is a nocturnal animal based on when I heard it, but it is also true that the only time the AC is running right now is night time, so it could be a daytime animal that is annoyed every time the AC kicks on. But we haven’t heard anything since Saturday so we really have no clue. Stay safe with the storms today. It looks like we might get hit pretty badly as well.

Laurie, great workout. I am glad your DH is helping your DD put in another door. That is much safer for her for sure. I just finished three weeks of doing yoga (or something like it) every day. I am not quite sure everyday is going to work forever, but I hope I can keep it at 5-7 days a week. I think it has helped me a lot because I am not nearly as sore as I had been getting.

DH and I are off for a few days going to see friends (and celebrate my 60th birthday on Friday). Hope you enjoy the long weekend and see you next week!

Hi Ladies. I hope you're both OK. We are under tornado watch till 2AM and lost power at 11:25PM. so I'll make this quick.

My workouts were walking and CG Abs and Core. Great 35 minute workout because it was doable for me.

Laurel, happy birthday and I hope you and your DH are safe. I heard Huntsville got hit with several tornado warnings and one possibly touched down in the western part of town. Happy Birthday!

Laurie, great workouts! I love that you both have incorporated yoga into your exercise routines.

My PT went well and felt better afterwards. My PT says it's a nerve that is bothering me, so he agrees with my orthopedic surgeon.

I'm actually OK with the aligners, which is surprising.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

Our workout yesterday was PJ's Low Impact Tabata Cardio. I really enjoyed this one. I like workouts that get your hr up, but are low impact. This morning I did a great session of yoga.

Laurel, Awesome job with the workouts! I totally agree with you on how the body feels with the incorporation of yoga. I do believe that it is helping with my knees, since I'm moving more freely during the day. This morning made me realize that I was getting more flexible, since I was able to go deeper into the stretches. Like you it will be in my routine for at least 6-7 days a week. Hope you are able to catch whatever is having fun in the house, or that it vacates quickly. Happy Birthday! Sounds like you will be having a great one.

Thelma, Nice workout! Dang on the weather! We have had rain for the last 24 hrs and it is still raining. It is a slow and steady rain. Nice that your PT session went well. Like I indicated above I'm really enjoying incorporating yoga into my day. It really has improved how well I feel. It is helping with my evening workout also.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! My workouts on Wednesday were walking and CG Iron Total Body.

Great workouts Laurie! I'm glad you're seeing the benefits of yoga.

The storm sounded pretty bad here. Thankfully, we didn't have any damages. Our power outage lasted about 90 minutes. Laurel's area got hit pretty bad. I think they had several tornadoes. I sent her an email asking her if they were OK and they were, but they still had another hour to go in their tornado watch window.

If Thursday is your last day of work, welcome to retirement! You're going to love it!

    Have a great day!

    Morning Ladies,

Our workout yesterday was PJ's Upper Body Dumbbell Ladder Workout. This morning was another yoga session.

Thelma, Love the workouts! It finally stopped raining sometime during the early hours of this morning. So that was almost 48 hours of steady rain. 🙂 Glad to hear that Laurel is okay. My last day of work is Wednesday of next week, so I still have 3-1/2 Days to go. Wednesday of next week our team is going out to celebrate my retirement. So I'm counting that as a half day. I'm really looking forward to it. I have to admit that I just want to take one day of doing nothing. Of course that will not happen, because I know that I will not sit still for very long. 😁

    Have a great day!

    Have a great week!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Our trip to Virginia was wonderful, and it was so good seeing friends I haven’t seen in 20 years. We made quite a scene in the restaurant with all of us hugging and being joyful, but I think it was a good kind of scene. 😀 We have all promised not to let that kind of time ever pass again between visits. DH and I got home late on Friday and spent the weekend dodging rain showers while trying to do yard and house chores.

As you can tell, we survived the tornadoes last Tuesday, but were under a tornado warning (and in some cases an extreme tornado warning) for over three hours. It was pretty intense. We had 13 tornadoes across the area, but, once again, we got very lucky where we were at with just some heavy rain, hail and lightening.

On the long car trip to and from Virginia, I spent a long time thinking about my workouts. No doubt my 60th birthday played into that as well. I have decided to try cutting down on my cardio, especially impact cardio. It just doesn’t feel very good anymore. So I am doing two rotations right now simultaneously. The first is a modified version of Cathe’s 2.0/LMR rotation she posted a few months ago. And another is a program on Peloton that emphasizes more endurance based spins. Both programs recommend 3-4 intense workouts a week, so I will still be doing an intense workout every day but not two intense workouts every day. We’ll see how that goes.

While we were gone, I did yoga every day, which made me happy. On Saturday, when we were home, I did a walk with Jessica Smith and 30 minutes of Peloton yoga. Sunday was a 60 minute spin followed by 30 minutes of Peloton Pilates. Monday (the start of my rotation) was 2.0 Giant Sets Total Body and 20 minutes of yoga. Today was a 35 minute spin, LMR Functional Core Focus, and 10 minutes of yoga.

Thelma, great workouts. I am glad you didn’t have any damage from that storm and your power wasn’t out too long. Thank you for checking in on us that evening. I really have never seen a storm quite like that. I hope your shoulder is okay.

Laurie, one more day!!! I hope you do take a little time to decompress after tomorrow. Unless being busy feels better of course. Great workouts.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies, I had an exhausting day! I went to Yin class and it was great. I also had PT and I think this was the reason why I was so exhausted. For the first time in like 25 years, I am finally feeling like my scapula is starting to stabilize itself. The new PT I'm seeing had me working on my doing diaphragm breathing to expand my rib cage and doing wall angels, which I felt made stand straight and opened up my chest. I'm always feeling like my shoulders are rolling forward, but with the wall and floor angels, they get pulled back into normal position.
I found a different version of the angels being done in a prone position on the floor using sliding discs. I felt that was even better. The PT was kind of disappointed that I found that version because he had planned to have me do it today. LOL. I got ahead of him. LOL. Unfortunately, the scapula felt like it was lifted again, so he had to work really hard to massage/push that thing down. My entire left side was all tight, so I got plunged again. He also use these tools that look like dull knives. He told me that my right side was going to be all bruised up and not to freak out. He wasn't kidding! My entire upper right back quadrant is purple. I have a big round one, which was from the plunger. It hurt like crazy when he was working on me, but if that what it takes to get better, I'll suffer gladly. He also has me doing functional exercises to recover my mobility and range of motion. Good stuff.

My workouts were walking, yin and now PT is a little workout.

I got a jury duty letter today. At least the courthouse is only 8 minutes from here. I hope they don't select me because I don't think I could stay awake through the proceedings.

Laurie, I'm so excited for you!!! I hope you take Thursday to just veg out! It will probably feel surreal though.

Laurel, I'm so glad you're OK and that you had a great time in VA! Did your plants get damaged? I can't imagine how scary that must've been! I was freaking out with all those tornados developing there left and right there.

I like that you're going to cut back on those intense cardio workouts. One common theme with all those post-menopausal experts seems to be that you should allow your body to rest. They don't recommend more than 4 workouts a week.
I am finding myself listening more to my body and when I'm exhausted, I don't force myself to workout like I have done in the past.

The hummingbirds are back. They had disappeared, so I imagine the females were nesting. I'm so happy to see them again. :)

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies! Today’s workout was LMR Functional Total Body and Bonus Anytime Mobility. I went heavier than Cathe in the total body workout so it felt more effective than the first time I did this workout. Given that it is mostly compound moves, it really is a nice complement to the 2.0 isolation-focused workouts.

Thelma, great workouts. But it sounds like an exhausting day! I am glad the PT is working but it also sounds pretty painful. I think I will feel much better doing fewer workouts. I was getting pretty burned out mentally, and my body was really beginning to rebel. Oddly, getting the Peloton really helped me change focus for some reason. Maybe because I began to enjoy spinning again where even that was beginning to feel like a chore. So I feel like I am making progress in the right direction.

We had two tornado warnings again last night which came out of nowhere. DH is gone, and I was watching a TV show on Max when my phone blew up. I turned on the local channel and everything was a bit north of here, so I ignored it. Then an hour later the same thing happened, I turned on the TV and they were pointing right at our neighborhood saying ‘get into your safe space now!’ So I went into the pantry and called DH for company. 😊 While it never got scary here, there was some more damage in the city. I am pretty much done with these tornadoes, but I would imagine they aren’t done yet. But, thankfully, we have had no damage in any of the storms and our plants are loving the rain. We have gotten a few hummingbirds back as well. They make me so happy.

Laurie, congratulations!!!! I hope your entire day is a wonderful celebration!

    See you tomorrow.

    Laurie, congratulations!!!

Laurel, great workouts! Interesting that the Peloton bike workouts helped you realize that you needed reduce number and intensity of your workouts. You will feel better and more energetic.

Hi Ladies! I hope you had a nice weekend! Ours was nice and quiet with the usual chores. The rain finally stopped. It looks like our next chance of rain is Friday. We apparently are getting smoke from the Canadian fires. I can't believe Canada is on fire again! It makes me sad.
This week is going to be a warm one with daytime temps in the low 80's.

My scapula is doing a lot better. I'm glad I decided to try the new therapist at my usual PT clinic. I still have an internal rotation issue to correct, but it's also improved.

My workouts on Friday were yoga and walking.
    Saturday - walking.
Sunday - walking and CG Iron Day 2- Upper Body. It is hard mentally be doing baby weights, but it is part of the recovery process.

Laurel, great workouts! I hope you had really nice weather!

    Have a great week!

    Morning Ladies,

Sorry that I wasn't here all week, it was just busy. The two days spent at work, I didn't really work all that much. They had a cake for me on Tuesday, and Wednesday we went out as a team to celebrate. During that time they where trying to download my emails, since those have been life saviors for the company many times. Thursday we took a road trip as a family to go to a wedding on Friday. We stayed at an Air BNB close to the venue. The wedding was very nice. We came back on Saturday.

This morning I did my morning yoga, and DH and I where able to get our workout in already. We did a PJ workout Bodyweight EMOM Cardio. I just finished up mopping the floors, and DH is vacuuming. I think that his is probably the most work, since the majority of our house is carpet. 😀

Laurel, Great job with all those workouts, and getting in the yoga. I like the look of your new rotation, and I'm sure that you will feel much better taking that impact out of your routine. I know that my knees sure do feel so much better. Glad to hear that you had a great time meeting up with your friends.

Thelma, Awesome job with those workouts. We also where dealing with smoke from those fires on Friday. It worked out fairly well for the wedding since the sun wasn't beating down on us. Glad to hear that you are healing.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I hope you enjoyed the weekend. Ours was busy with yard work, errands and other chores. But it was good to be able to focus on the yard after all of the rain we have had. It looks good at the moment, but with the return of heat and dry weather, that won’t last too long. But it is nice while we have it.

For workouts, on Saturday I did 20 minute low impact spin and yoga. Yesterday was a 30 minute spin and yoga. Today was 2.0 Super Sets Total Body, 10 minutes of Peloton core and more yoga. 🙂

Thelma, great workouts. We have had the smoke as well but it isn’t too bad. Like you, I hate that Canada is already suffering from forest fires so early in the hot weather season. I am glad to hear you are feeling better and seeing improvements. No doubt the lighter weights are frustrating, but as you say, that is part of the recovery process.

Laurie, great workouts. I am glad you had a nice time at the wedding after your last few days of work. I would imagine these first few weeks will be quite an adjustment as you work through a new workout schedule and cleaning schedule and everything else. But hopefully it is an enjoyable process. Congratulations again on your retirement.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies! Monday's workouts were walking, yoga and Tracy Steen Legs and Abs. Tracy alternated between legs and abs in this workout.

Laurie, congratulations on your retirement! How nice of your co-workers to help you celebrate. Great idea for them to save your emails!

    Great workouts!

Did you get to see the Northern Lights or was the Canadian fires smoke blocking them?

    Laurel, great workouts!
I hear you on the return of the dry and hot weather affecting the grass and plants. My hydrangea bush is full of flowers!

The scapula is definitely doing better, but I can't seem to shake the bicep tendonitis.

    See you tomorrow!

    Morning Ladies,

This morning was yoga and PJ's Ab HiiT Bodyweight Workout. Looks like we may be getting some rain today so we will need to head outside shortly to get some yard work done.

Oldest dd called yesterday and asked if I wanted to go to the zoo on Thursday. I haven't been to the zoo in a while, so this should be fun.

Laurel, Great job with the workouts! Thanks for the kudos on the retirement. So far it just feels like vacation. I like that we are able to do the yard work during the week. There always seemed to be so many things on the weekends so the yard tended to not get the total TLC that it needed. It was also nice to go grocery shopping on a weekday and not have to deal with crowds of people. Now I have to decide what workouts we want to try out. I would like to get into the heavy weights, just need to pick the right workout for DH.

Thelma, Awesome job on the workouts! My Peony's are about to bloom, and boy they are going to be beautiful this year. I also received a new plant from the youngest for Mother's Day. The hydrangea's are just starting to leaf, at least the ones that grow from new. The plants that grow on old wood have been leafed out for a while. Hope that bicep gets better for you. Thanks also for the kudos on my retirement.

    Have a great day!
