A pound of muscles equals a pound of fat. However, muscle is denser than fat; therefore a pound of muscle takes up less space than a pound of fat.

    What's important is that muscle burns calories efficiently and fat doesn't do anything but sit there and look ugly. So weigh more...just have it be because you have muscles!!

    I think you know what people mean when they say it.

    I don't see what's wrong about saying "muscle weighs more than fat" ... if you take a blob of fat and then take a blob of muscle of the same size, the muscle will weigh more. I wish people would stop nit picking everything that is said on here.

    I would be starving if I only ate 1200 calories! Seriously...

    I don't try to eat them back, but I have exercised to bring my net calories down for the day, usually to allow myself a dessert after dinner.

    But...but...if I don't reach my goal weight in two months or less, I'll just stop trying completely and go back to eating Snickers and Diet Cokes all day long.
