-You should eat: first thing in the morning 7am, 10am, 1pm, 4pm, 7pm, 10pm close to bedtime

So wait. My day begins at 4:30am and I go to bed before 9.

My metabolism is ruined forever!

You sure about that? Try telling that to the thousands of inmates that build phenomenal prison bodies eating only three times a day. I myself typically eat 3 times a day, doesn't seem to be hindering my progress.

LOL, they don't have anything else to doooo

Your body isn't aware of what time it is,time is a human concept. If 6 meals a day works for you, that's great! If 3 meals a day works for you, that's great too! Everyone is different and weight loss is as individual as the person :) as long as you hit your macros/cals/whatever else, then that's all that matters.

-Laugh more often (laughing has been proved to aid in raising metabolism and overall bodily health)

    My fav line there.

I know. I'm laughing right now, and thank goodness because I don't eat "breakfast" until noon.

Huh? My grandmother was stick thin her whole life and only ever ate 3 means a day - never snacked, EVER. She also lived to 91. It's junk food and portion sizes that make people fat, not when they eat.

Bro, as they said its "Broscience"

I'd say the only way eating several small meals a day is really helpful is just so you dont fill yourself up and have that "full" feeling and also so you dont feel like your starving and then just end up binge eating.

    False.

Meal frequency does not increase or decrease metabolism.

    Thank you! :)

Different methods fit different people. At the end of the day the way you eat has to fit in with your lifestyle or it's not going to be a long term solution for your weight loss goals.

    Wow,
I have to say I didn't expect this. Just so we're clear I am not the one who wrote this, I got it from here

    http://www.highimpacttraining.org/HighImpactTraining.org/Eating_often.html

and I've seen it in numerous other places, magazines, books, etc. from people who know way more about this stuff than I do. If anyone cared to show me why I was wrong I would have appreciated that, but instead you all just hurled insults at me. I was just trying to post something that was helpful to me, and I thought might be helpful to others. But thank you, thanks you for all of this.

Edit: Also, next time you're posting something that ISN'T YOUR OWN, you should probably quote it and not pass it off as if you wrote it.
