    I can remember my first computer class, and how excited we all were when the punchcards were run on the mainframe.

    Of course, that was before 5 1/4 floppies.

    I remember when there was no interwebs. In fact, I remember rotary dial phones, coffee percolators, and hand crank ice cube trays.

    Oh, and I had to get up and change the channel on the TV. On which there were only four channels that worked.

    Renting a VCR when they first came out.

    Watching the space shuttle blow up when I was in the 3rd grade.

    Watching movies on reel to reel projectors in school.

    Overhead projectors and transparencies.

    There was no Caller ID, so you took your chances when you answered the phone....
