I had a very lazy day yesterday and haven't made the best food choices the past two days, so it's time to get focused today. You would think after having a 4 lb loss that I wouldn't do that. We're going camping this weekend so I have to sit down and really think about my food ahead of time or that could be totally disastrous. I hope everyone has a great day! And of course, it's cookie day at work, so I have to avoid the Otis Spunkmeyer peanut butter cookies. Ugh. I can do this

I find that planning is key!! I always seem to get into sticky situations without a plan...LOL! Hunger sets in and then I am upset that I didn't plan ahead...So GOOD FOR YOU...for planning ahead for your trip! Thumbs Up!!!

Is it too late to join the challenge? I'm currently at a slump and I need some motivation. So i'm looking for a few friends on here to hold me accountable mainly to my exercise part of my little project here : )

Woo hooo! Super! Congratulations! If I can brag about myself a bit, I've lost a pound since Saturday! Not much, but, one pound at a time, right?

The power of positive thinking .... .... I'll be a knockout for my husband for our anniversary on New Year's Eve. Thin, gorgeous, firm. OK, so, even if I lost 20 pounds by then, I still wouldn't be thin. But thinnER! Positive thinking ... positive thinking ... positive thinking ....

One pound is one pound gone, WTG.

I have finally reached a point in my life to lose the weight. Friends, coworkers and family have taken notice that I am working hard and losing weight. I know that I should lose weight for myself but its also an incentive for me to lose now that people are noticing. I want them to continue to notice the hard work I am doing. It's like a reward.

Your an inspiration for me, seeing that you have lost 34 pounds since August shows that the weight loss CAN be done and make me push to have result like yours:flowerforyou: - thank you!

I just went dress shopping for a wedding reception on Saturday. I ended up buying nothing because I look like a big, fat, flabby tubbo in all the dresses. I wonder if people would notice if I showed up in sweats (my preferred attire!) It was so discouraging. I'm apple shaped. You know ... big fat tummy and chest ... didn't really realize how awful my arms look until today.

This morning I was pretty happy, down a pound from this weekend. But, now ... grrr! :grumble:

Try not to say negative things about yourself! We live our personal truths...so if you believe you are all the things you just said than that is what you will be...just change your mind!! I know that is easier said than done but it is so true! At the very least you have to acknowledge that you are here and you are trying and that is a MAJOR step towards your goals!! :flowerforyou:

    Hello Peoples!!!

How is everyone doing? Remember if you ever need to talk I am always here for all of you! Anyone worried about Thanksgiving? I have been mentally preparing myself for the past few weeks and I am almost positive I can through it...if I dont cook and go to someone elses house for dinner..LOL! I CANNOT have all those leftovers sitting around...WHooooaaaa...that would be too tempting! I was considering doing a recipe makeover but I still am not sure if my baked mac and cheese could make the cut...too many cheeses in there. Tell me about your Thanksgiving concerns?? Someone has to be thinking about it too....lol

I know, you're right, I shouldn't be so negative, but, that dress shopping was painful! It was the worst time to do it, too, not having lost much weight yet. But, I need a dress for Saturday.

OK, the power of positive thinking: Saturday, even if I stay as I am right now, I'll be at least a pound and a half thinner than I was this past Saturday. That's a move in the right direction. It's not perfect, but, it's movement in the right direction. On New Year's Eve, though, I'm going to be one hot mama!

I'm sure I'll probably go over a bit on calories for Thanksgiving, but I do have one thing working in my favor... my sister is also losing weight and we can probably help each other out and make sure there are a few healthier things around to eat. Having a buddy like that in real life helps (plus she's lost 45 lbs and I have to catch up!! Nothing like a little sibling rivalry!) I'll just have to be sure to get a really good workout in every day that week. I refuse to let it slow me down. :glasses:

I've never made any before, but I had Kashi's Apple Orchard (or something like that) and it was sooooooo good. So my suggestion is to try to work some dried apples and spices like cinnamon and cloves in there. I would mix it with vanilla yogurt for breakfast and OMG that was good.

I've had a pretty good day today... I thought I had gone way over on calories, but when I logged it, I didn't go over very much at all. Now, not all of it was really good for me.... but I was close to my calorie goal. I let Tony Horton kick my booty and I feel excellent

Those of you that use workout DVDs... I need some suggestions =) I'm trying to keep from getting bored so I'm renting them from Netflix. I tried 30 Day Shred and I'm just not ready for it yet. I have Power 90, but I need a little variety. I love Tony Horton, but I can't do the same thing every day.
