    DEE,

That is how i like mine....just like your brother LOADED with pepper and after it is room temp, if it is cold, nope...can't eat it.
That is why i love reading the forums, in my RL, i haven't talked to one other person that likes CC loaded with black pepper ( even good with red pepper)

    ????????????????????????????????

    .....
My brother eats his loaded with pepper. I find that's pretty much the only way I can get past the taste and texture, too, but I can't put as much pepper on it as he does or I wouldn't be able to breath.

If you can't find a way to eat it so you actually like it, don't eat it as it isn't worth it and look for another option.

I may have to try the applesauce though.

I sometimes put salt and pepper on it for lunch or supper and for breakfast I chop up an apple and banana and mix with 1/2 cup of cottage cheese. Then I sprinkle a little cinnamon on top and about 3 almonds chopped up.

I mix cottage cheese and Granola for breakfast every morning. I can't drink milk, so cottage cheese is my subsitute. I just use the fat free cottage cheese and it does't bother my stomach, like milk.

a cup of cottage cheese mixed with some flavoured whey. epic dessert. otherwise add some frozen strawberries/blueberries and let the fruit thaw a little..mix that and you got another epic dessert(sorbet texture)

On fresh baby spinach with salt and pepper-maybe a dash of red pepper. I also like a small amount of salad dressing-it makes a great salad without having to add a lot of dressing.

I honestly always thought cottage cheese was for like chips, sandwhiches and tacos. I never knew it could be used on fruits and veggies. I even see some people use it in parfait!

I mixed some protein shake mix into mine just now. Usually just eat it plain tho.

I used to always eat it with a spoonful of grape jelly. Delicious.

Try different brands. Each does taste different. I happen to love cottage cheese but I have a favorite and will make a trip to purchase it even if I need nothing else from that store.
This - some have big curdles some small, some are more milky some more dry, some are bitter/tangy, others not. I like most, but not the tangy ones. If I had that only, I would think cottage cheese is just disgusting

I take 1 cup cottage cheese and 1/3 cup salsa(Green Mountain). Mix that up and that is the perfect snack for me. I also put salsa on a baked potato.

What brands do you have available? I've lived in a few places and it is always a bit of a trial and error to find the best in each country/region. Right now, out of what I can get at the store, Knudsen is my favorite.
