    If you are looking for a step counter, Walmart had some for about $5 that work well.

    June totals: 528,747 steps; 401,817 aerobic steps (3339 minutes); 241.81 miles
    July totals: 546,725 steps; 404,366 aerobic steps (3206 minutes); 250.12 miles

    August goals:
    Daily: A minimum of 13K steps and 11K aerobic steps every single day.
    Monthly: 575,000 steps; 420,000 aerobic steps (3100 minutes); 260 miles.
    Marathon training: Complete an 18-mile walk and a 20-mile walk.
    "C25K" interval training (4+ mph walking instead of running): Increase max pace to 160 steps/min; complete by 08/10
    "21K" interval training (4+mph walking instead of running): Complete through week 3

    Tentatively moving up the timetable for my first marathon. Original plan: Long Beach Half in October, Huntington Beach Full in February. If I hit my training goals for the month, I'm confident I'll be ready for the Long Beach FULL marathon on October 7th.

    Checking in....I've got such a sedentary job it's hard to get my steps in. I'm gonna have to "step it up"! I'd like to hear how some of you get so many steps in each day. Thanks!

    I put mine on when I get dressed in the morning and take it off when I go to bed at night so it counts everything. I do take it off when I am at the beach so beach walks did not get recorded. I also take it off when I ride my bike.
