    Hummus (pref red pepper or garlic varieties) with celery sticks and red bell pepper strips

    Non-fat Splenda-sweetened yogurt

    A few nuts, pecans or almonds preferred

    Fruit, usually a clementine or a handful of berries or cherries

    Kind bars!
  • I mix some chives and garlic into plain greek yogurt and use it as a dip with some pretzels. Satisfies my craving for chips and dip when I just can't reisist any longer!

    Celery when I have some. Depending on how many calories I'm at, I'll add peanut butter. If there's no celery, it's usually peanuts or wheat thins, again, depending on what else I've eaten, or plan to eat.
  • lowfat yogurt, blueberries, strawberries and slivered almonds YUM!

    I actually portion out all my snack right after I buy them, so that I can just grab a 'snack bag' and go, and they are so handy to control calories...

    * 28g Almonds = 164 Calories
    * 40g Crasins = 140 Calories
    * 100g Baby Carrot sticks = 35 Calories
    * 40g Dried Mango Slices NOT the processed chunks = 25 Calories
    * 50g Raisins = 150 calories

    And basically any kind of fruit/veggie combo I can think of (or more realistically, whatever is on sale!) ;)

    Happy Snacking!

    Greek yogurt
    peanut butter with fruit or on a slice of bread
    cottage cheese, sometimes with triscuts
    watermelon
    granola baar
    apple
    sugar free chocolate pudding
    veggies with laughing cow wedges
    fat free animal crackers
    and when I'm feeling indulgent: light ice cream
  • I love ,love, love that they are fat free and calorie free! :)
  • Dill Pickles that is! :)
  • I love raw nuts, especially macadamia (YUMMY) and I have a weird love of brazil nuts. Nuts are an awesome snack since you only need a few to fill yourself up and they're full of nutrients and protein.

    Dark chocolate is my evening snack, if I'm wanting something sweet. I also like a slice of sharp cheddar lately, again it really helps tide you over.

    I love making superfood balls - as long as you have a good base, you can put anything in. A good base is dates and almonds, and that's delicious by itself. But I love to add chia seeds, coconut, peanut butter, raw cacao powder or even goji berries. Roll them into balls of about 2cm width, pop them in the freezer and have 1 or 2 when you need to snack.

    I also love raisins and raw almonds, hummus and wholegrain crackers. Hope this helped :)

    I've never heard of superfood balls before but they sounded interesting so googled them and found a yummy and fairly easy recipe on line with dates and almonds and raw cacao powder and i'm gonna add chia seeds and coconut to it! thanks for posting about this! i'm looking forward to trying them! :)

    Strawberries and watermelon...yummie
  • Naked smoothies. You can find them at any grocery store, target or Walmart. They cost about $3.25 but one serving is only 1/2 the container so you can split that cost in half and have it twice. They taste amazing and the calories aren't bad. Green machine is a mix of green vegetables and fruits and the 8 oz. serving is 140 cal. I like the protein one too because I believe the protein helps keep you feeling full. They are sweet and have no added sugar.

    Love the breakstone's 2% cottage cheese in 4 oz container with 1/2 serving of raw whole almonds for a mid-morning snack about 10:00 am. I crave the crunch and it's a healthy snack. Keeps me satisfied.

    One ounce of reduced fat cheddar cheese! Kills my cravings and satisfies for quite a long time. A boiled egg will work too.
