I really doubt you're going to gain from eating only 200 more calories per day.
I eat 1300.0 -
5'9" 125, and eat at maintenance which is about 2100 calories.0

I'm 5'8, and I usually reach between 1200 and 1500. Some days I struggle to reach 1200, other days it's not too hard reaching 1500, but I don't think I can eat the 1580 MFP is recommending I eat. Now I'm in the habit of drinking copious amounts of water and almost no other drinks, and now I am finding my appetite just isn't what it used to be. My snacking has greatly reduced because of it too. This really contributes to my struggling to hit 1200 some days. I find myself grabbing one of my snack portions of nuts to try and get the numbers up a bit.
Sure, if I ate crap and didn't hold myself accountable, I'd easily hit 2000, but that's not what this journey is all about for me.0 -
5'7" 125 lbs

-600 (tandem breastfeeding 2 toddlers who nurse 8 times a day)

I workout for 350-400 cals every day, so I aim to eat back at least half of that.
Present status: maintain current weight (not looking to lose or gain)0 -

At least 1500....a lot of lean meat and veggies.... I've started to strength training so I need the xtra calories and protein....wanting to average about 75-100 grams of protein/ day...0

I'm also 5'11'' and weigh about 170 right now. I eat anywhere between 1600-1900 cal/day...regardless of how much I exercise that day. AND I've begun eating only when hungry...big deal for me. I used to eat when bored and at night, mostly. I've cut that down a LOT and it has helped me get down quite quickly. I'm also not eating back my exercise calories for the most part.0

I am 33 years old, 5'8", 154, 26.7% BF and currently working out 5 or 6 days a week. I revised my calories yesterday and have it set at just over 1800 cals per day so not long enough to know if this will work.0

19 years old, 5'3, 147 lbs, and I have set my own calorie goal to 1600 and I have been slightly under the past couple of days, but have also gone over most of the time. I exercised once a day (cardio & strenght training) and am now trying to exercise twice a day to quick up my metabolism and lose more weight.
And yes, I do eat some of my exercise calories back.0 -
5'5 159 lbs and I do IF two days then 1600 the rest.0

I'm 5'5", 155 and have a calorie goal of 1656 (my RMR). I do 30-45 minutes of weights and 30-60 minutes of cardio six days a week. But since strength training tends to make me hungry, I do eat some if not all of my exercise calories if I'm still hungry after hitting my calorie goal.0

24 5'0 179.0 1200 calories a day .. burn about 784 -1000. I kinda have no choice but to EAT BACK0
-
I started with 1200/day. Then upped it to 1400+ while running. I started a perpetual headache for like 4 days and was super tired. Now, since I'm training for a half marathon I try to get around 2000/day. After all that, I've only gone up a pound and I no longer have headaches and/or am I falling out in the middle of the day from being so tired!
Don't fret! If you go up... adjust accordingly. You don't know until you try!
Btw, I'm 5'3" and 116.0
