I didn't tell you ladies, but I lost my wallet wednesday night at the movie theatre. I had a 90$ money order in it and 25$ in cash. I was so certain the cash and mo were gone! But I got there and everything was in it!!!!!! Yay..It's great. I thought I was gonna have to put off Sharlotte's Christmas present so I could use my december payment to pay my rent. but I can get her what I want for Christmas, yay!

    I confess. I caved.

I just polished off a cup of atomic mudd. I invented this concoction several years ago, in spite of my diabetes. It is masterfully decadent, with the calories to match... but did I log it? Nope! I enjoyed this cup of chocolate death guilt free.

    Trish's Atomic Mudd recipe:
    1/2 mug heavy cream
    1/4 mug milk
1/2 cup of your favorite hot chocolate powder (I used Godiva Dark Chocolate)

Warm milk & cream together. Dump in powder and stir. Top with a ridiculous amount of marshmallows or whip cream. I made my own whip cream from the remainder of the heavy cream & some splenda, and whipped it to a soft butter consistency. It was perfect!
For a truly amazing cup of mudd, place a chocolate candy bar at the bottom of your mug, then pour hot liquid over it, adding the powder last. Stir until the bar is dissolved.

Erm... regular Wii today, post atomic mudd. Aunt Flo decided to show up, so I am a bit sore. We are going to the store today for a few things, so I'll be able to get a light walk in.
I woke up feeling like I weighed 100 lbs more than I really do, but got on the scale anyway. Dropped another pound. YAY! I've been working really hard to cut back on sodium (dropped back from MFP's recommended 2,500 to the FDA'S recommended 1500). It's been tough, but I think it's paying off.

Hub's is making turkey kielbasa & scrambled eggs for breakfast, mmmm. Last night we had turkey kielbasa & finished off the mashed cauliflower from Thanksgiving. We have hardly any leftovers, as we sent most of it home with our family & friends.

Trish that's great that you lost another pound, even though you were drinking that sinfully delicious sounding chocolate drink!

I feel like I have the flu. I kicked my bum at my mom's house scrubbing today floors upstairs bathroom and the tub, the dining room, and part of the livingroom, srubbed the downstairs bathroom. All of this on hands and knees. Then i finally got to use a mop to mop the rest of the livingroom!!!! I was like I can't take much more on my hands and knees. 2 to 3 hours of work spent basically on my hands and knees and then carting junk up to the third floor bedrooms. Ugh. I feel like I have the flu, I'm so sore and I feel so cold! I just hope I"m not getting sick.

Thanksgiving was good. The turkey was very moist, the mashed potatoes were good, and we had corn to go with it, as well as rolls. I had a small slice of pumpkin pie and scraped most of the pie filling off and gave it to my daughter

I logged my food and housework. I logged teh housework as moderate, even though it was a bit more than that. I logged my food and with exercise I have 1,012 or something like that left I have 2,025 total for the day after exercise. Crazy!!!!

Silver, I hope you're not getting sick. Being sick is no fun, especially with a little person to take care of. I usually get the shivers after a hard workout. I think it's cuz of the sweat & heat escaping my body.
As a precaution, get some airborne, it will help boost your immune system.

I'm broke till the 14th. I can't even get my depression medication. That's when I get paid again. I forgot to have it refilled. I feel so stupid for forgetting it!

Another moment of weakness. Graham crackers & peanut butter. I blame Aunt Flo. I was going to make it a graham cracker sandwich with peanut butter, whip cream, and cocoa powder, but the whip cream had gone bad. Guess I'll get some more heavy cream this weekend and make my own. Probably better for me anyway.

I did good for turkey day. My dh had to work so the kids and I went up and had food at the galley. Wasn't expecting anything beyond boring military galley food but it was actually quite good. No seconds for me and I was okay with that, I even had some pumpkin pie and not the crust. For some reason that was the only part of the dinner I didn't like at all *go me*

Yesterday on the other hand I over did it. That was our actual thanksgiving feast at a friends house. They were amazing and post poned just for us! Everything was very good and I did have seconds there and I haven't eaten that much food in a while. I was suprised at how much my stomach has shrunk because it was a lot of food, but not near what I used to be able to eat kwim?

Made up for it today, my 5k on thanksgiving went well and then today we went for a 2 hour bike ride w/ me pulling both kids in the trailer. WOW does 70lbs add up in a bike trailer. I was huffin and puffin but proud of myself for doing it for that long. Burned mega calories and dont' feel a bit guilty if I did gain anything this week.

Unfortunately, I'm sick. I had a temp of 101.7 last night and I'm down to 99.9 today. I still ache a bit, but I don't think I have the flu or anything. So, that's good.

Hi everyone. Well, my kids and I are finally feeling better, so I have time to check in. My daughter and I had fevers Thanksgiving night. Hers was 102.9 and mine was 102.1. But by Sat. we were good so I don't know what we had but it was AWFUL. I was up for 48 hours straight between coughing and tending to her. And being awake so long, I was HUNGRY, so I had a total cheat day Sat. eating 2 desserts, leftovers of everything, part of a gingerbread house... yeah lots. But I did push through the illness to play Wii with my son. Trish, you made me want to get on the Wii again. My workout of choice was step aerobics, but boxing and tennis are really fun and high calorie burners. I played for an hour and a half Sat and Sun and didn't even notice the time. So I did my weekly check-in today and I dropped 1 lb. this week! But more amazing was I lost 1 in. from my waist and 4 in. overall. So today was a real victory being over illness AND losing weight.

Awesome to the ladies who did the Turkey Lurkey or Turkey Trots. I did a 5k walk for a few years, but never really pushed myself to run it or anything. It is an amazing accomplishment and especially on Thanksgiving!

Silver, I hope you get to feeling better soon. I tried Juicy Juice immunity blend for me and Alycia. Plus it's good to give my kids a serving a day just to keep their immune systems up this cold/flu season. Hope everyone else is doing well. So ready for school to start tomorrow so I can get my house back in order!

I'm feeling better, Sharlotte still has a cough, but no fever. Whatever I had all it did was either give me the chills or the sweats and aches.
