    I'm hungry five seconds after my ten walnuts. Its very unsatisfying. That's why I never have them any more or any other nuts..unless I'm spreading some peanut butter on my crumpets.

    I measure it out and eat it with blueberries or something else low in calories.

    No one else has a problem with trying to limit themselves to 11 almonds or whatever and then it just making you hungrier?

    Approximate for 1 serving of nuts --
    24 almonds
    18 medium cashews
    12 hazelnuts or filberts
    8 medium Brazil nuts
    12 macadamia nuts
    35 peanuts
    15 pecan halves
    14 English walnut halves

    And I can sure limit myself to 11 almonds. In fact, I limit myself to none. But pecans and cashews are another story entirely.

    I eat a serving along with something else... I don't think I could just do a serving of nuts by themselves and call that a snack.

    For a snack I take a small cup or bowl and put in about 1/4 cup to 1/2 a cup of nuts. When it is empty then I am done. It works for me. If I am hungry then I go for something more satisfying.
    This exactly... count them into another container and then if I am still hungry, I will have something else less high in cals.
