Hi Everyone,
I walked for 65 minutes tonight (at a faster pace). My total for Sept is 1444 minutes - against my goal of 1800 minutes for the month. I'm on target to hit my goal - hurray!!!
It was a great night for walking - actually a little on the cool side. Summer is definitely over. I love the fall - fresh air, warm sweaters, leaves changing colour, pumpkins - I love it all!! :flowerforyou:

Hi All,
I walked for 80 minutes tonight. My monthly total is 1524 - against my Sept goal of 1800 minutes. I need to average 56 minutes per day for the remainder of the month in order to hit my target.
Another great night for walking - lovely and cool. Nice!

Hi All,
I did all of my errands on foot today - walked 75 minutes. My Sept total is now at 1644 - against my target of 1800. Just 156 minutes remaining over the next 3 days. It was a perfect day for walking - cool with no wind and it was still daylight - so nice!

What are we going to do next month? This group has been instrumental in my making walking a priority. I can't stop now - I'm hooked!! Hoping to be an amazing 63-year-old chick like Shirley one of these days (birthday coming up fast - I'm getting to the 63-part sooner than I'd like)!!! :laugh:0 -

Happy Friday Everyone (whew - so glad the weekend is here!!).
I walked for 90 minutes tonight. That brings my total for Sept to 1734 minutes. Just 66 minutes more to reach my Sept goal of 1800 minutes.
It was another perfect walking night but the forecast for the weekend is rain. Not happy walking in the rain but I'm not giving up now.

I didn't bring my tennis shoes and got home too late for the gym...going to ZUMBA tomorrow...then to the gym for my 2 miles

9/18 - Same as yesterday...gotta focus on my exercise...soo this forum PERFECT for accountability. I hope to report at least 3 miles of hiking to a Dam at our local Regional Park tomorrow. Yay...exercise with my cousin since I moved to town a year ago...sheesh!! But better now then never!!

9/22 - 0 ...but took care of grandkids and moved plenty with them...I'm exhausted lol (tomorrow is Zumba)
9/23 - 0 Did Zumba Toning...200 plus calories. More strength training than cardio...but got my heart pumping...Grreat
9/24 - 0 Had a training in the morning, and visited old friends I had not seen in ages...took care of grandkids at night...burned calories taking care of them...but no sustained walking.
9/25 - 0 Spent over 11 hours helping dear daughter with my grandkids...Dad worked 12 hours...EXHAUSTED
9/26 - 1 mile Spent the time taking care of grandkids, doing laundry, kitchen...walked my granddog for 30 minutes
9/27 - Went to SF on for a Forum group. Walked a mile at least. Had lunch with good friends. Home to rest.
9/28 - Took care of granddaughter for earlier part of day; drove DD, our poodle, to pick up grandson, and went to the park. Walked a mile at least
Have had no time to be on computer until last night when I caught up with Support of my Pals...and now coming in here to catch up on posting. I will go to the gym later to do 2 miles. Most of my exercise has been running with the grandkids...and moving to keep up with them. I need to find my bodybugg or get a fitbit that costs $60.00 instead of the $100...to see how many calories I burn throughout the day...since many times I do not have time to go to the gym. Feel grreat.

Hi Everyone,
I walked to do my errands today so I walked for 120 minutes. That brings my total to 1854 minutes. I've passed my goal of 1800 minutes for the month of September - with 1 day to spare. Hurray!!!! :happy:
It was another perfect fall day. What makes it even better was that the forecast was for rain - but, no rain until just a few minutes ago.

Got out twice today...once for 90 minutes and the other 75 minutes...wish I could fit this much in every day....shooting for at least 60 minutes each day...adding biking to and from school (about 5 miles each way) twice a week as well. Keeping at it until I hit my target....0

My goal was to walk 100 miles in September. I have walked 94 miles. I could walk the final 6 today, but I hadn't planned to walk today, and I'm quite happy with 94. I'll aim for 100 again in October.0

I still have a ways to go for my partial Sept walking challenge, I am at 10 hours and 25 minutes. I have one day to walk 4 hours and 35 minutes to meet the 15 hours in 10 days that I challenged myself. This morning I am walking/running in a 5km walk for Breast Cancer. So that will be a good start to the day. We'll see what happens.0
