Charlie Mike - Leonard B. Scott

It's an excellent book about Ranger combat in Vietnam/Cambodia.

If war may be said to bring out the worst in governments, it frequently brings out the best in people. This is a novel about some of the very best. Some led. Some followed. Some died. Meet Sergeant David Grady, Sarah Boyce, Major John Colven, Lieutenant Le Be Son...in the great Vietnam war novel, CHARLIE MIKE.

I am currently reading The Scorch Trials by James Dashner, it is the second book in the Maze Runner series. It's a teen series, and what I would loosely describe as the male version of the Hunger Games series. It's quite good so far.

I just finished reading Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern, which is a beautiful book! I would put it on my list as one of my favourite books of all time.

I'm halfway through the fourth book (A Feast for Crows) in George R.R. Martin's series. I love these books and I thought the third was by far the best so far.

Just finished reading 'Zombies and *kitten*', by Carlton Mellick. This is classified as a "bizarro" novel. I seem drawn to these types of books as they are completely out of the ordinary. In this book twenty people wake up to find themselves in a boarded-up building in the middle of the zombie wasteland. They soon discover they have been chosen as contestants on a popular reality show called Zombie Survival. Their goal: be the first to make it through the zombie-plagued city to the pick-up zone alive.

I'm currently reading 'American Psycho' (Bret Easton Ellis), which is even more ridiculous than the movie...I find it to be a hard read because "Patrick Bateman" goes into SOOOO much detail, especially when it comes to the name brands of what people are wearing.

  • I'm about to start Triangles by Ellen Hopkins. I love her, she's my favorite author. I'm a sucker for teenager books, not sure why. I just love sappy teen love and drama:smile: But, this one is her first adult book. I hope it's as good as the rest.
