    I am a TOPS (Taking Off Pounds Sensibly) member. My starting weight was 205.5 in 2007. My goal weight was 160. I finally reached my goal weight at our meeting tonight. I had several years of attending meetings and not really making any progress. This year I woke up and started believing in myself. I started keeping a daily food and exercise dairy. I have changed my life style. I allow an occasional splurge, but then I get right back on track. This time I will not allow myself to regain my weight. It helps to have a support group. I plan to continue attending TOPS so I stay focused. I feel so much better. I believe I can lose an additional 5 pounds before New Years. I am starting that goal right now. I wish success for everyone following this messge board.

    I lost 16 in 8 weeks so figure I can double that for 15 weeks, but not quite so will go with 30 lbs down by New Years! Double incentive as I am going home at that same time to visit, would love to go with that much gone!

    I usually do not have a problem with the food, so plan is to continue eating the healthier foods that i have been. I dont have cheat days. So my plan needs to focus on getting more exercise in on my busy schedule.

    definitely not going to make goal of 168 but hey getting there, going in the right direction!

    I'm in!!
    My current weight is anywhere from 120-130 (terrified to weigh myself).
    I want to get down to 110.
    I'm trying to exercise at least 5 days a week for at least an hour and also eat under 1600 calories.

    I plan on following the calories that MFP recommends for 2lb/wk weight loss (currently 1430)
    I will work out at least 3x per week
    I will run a 5K on Thanksgiving day
    I will drink at least 8 glasses of water per day
    I will add strength training

    Well I did it. I got down below 250!

    8/1/12 SW - 287.4
    9/12/12 Weight at start of this challenge - 271.6
    12/20/12 CW - 248.0

    I also met all of my behavioral goals. I did, however. up my calories to losing 1lb/wk (1840 calories).

    I did it. Hooray! I actally am under my goal at TOPS. Now I'm trying to maintain and/or reach for 150 lbs. My TOPS recorded goal was 160. Exercising regularly and journalling really help. I'm feeling so much better, and my cholestrol counts were much better when I went for my physical. Happy New Year everyone! My goal for the new year is to keep off the wight, cotinueto exercise and journal... I definietly do not want to regain my weight. I've been there and done that. NOT THS TIME!
