Thank you to everyone who has shared their story and particularly to those brave enough to show photographs. You are all inspiring. I'm 5ft 1" and have been stuck at 135 lbs for a few weeks now. But I'm not going to give up because your pictures have helped me imagine what I would look like if I lost even 10 lbs. Keep up the great work.

I'm 5'1'', 28 yo. I started at 198 lbs and I'm now at 148. It took me 18 months to lose 50 lbs. My goal weight is 135-138, so 10 more to go.
I went from pants size 18 to 12 (probably 10 once I'm done) and shirt XL to medium or small for certain brands.
I lost 3 cups size (thank God!), 17 cm at the waist, 23 cm at the hips and 13 cm at the thigh.
I started running in April 2014 but didn't eat right. So I kept gaining weight. In August 2014, I found a great support group. It really helped with emotional eating. I started looking more thoroughly at my nutrition and macros. By November I had lost 15 lbs. I was running 3 times a week and doing pilates and yoga 4-5 days a week. At the end of Februrary, I started resistance training and I reached 30 lbs lost by April. In July, I switched programs and upped the intensity. I reached 50 lbs lost last week.
Since January 2015, I have been doing meal prep every Sunday. All my meals and snacks are planned and prepared. My grocery shopping has gotten very effective. I still have triggers foodwise, so I indulge every weekend to prevent binges but the meaning of "indulging" is far from what it used to be. My portions are different, my relation with food is different.
My husband jumped in around March 2015. It made a huge difference! Things were easier from there for me. Doing it together is awesome. I'm so proud of us and of the example we're setting for our daughter.6 -
After having my child 8 years ago close to 190 lbs! I'm 5 feet tall.
A year later at 120
I range 120-125, though I'm always trying to be 10-15 less!

Thank you everyone for the inspiration!!
I can't believe I'm going to post this for the world to see. I'm not nearly close to being thin, but I'm down 22lbs at 4'11. Wish I had a side pic of me to begin with... my stomach was HUGE.
190lbs: look at my double chin and scary looking legs!! I felt SO miserable. I felt like a walking water balloon. Tiiiight size 13.
168lbs: I don't have a full body shot, but my chin/neck/arms look so much better. Feel SO much better. Size 11.
But... I still have 50-60lbs to go!!
I can't wait to get there and post a skinny pic on here!
If anyone is curious, this is me at my goal weight. I WILL look like this once again!! This is after I lost 70lbs the first time around. Size 5.
Oh, and... this is me as a teenager, at a size 3. I would *love* to get down to a size 3 again, but I don't know if that's going to happen honestly.
Man have I gone downhill over the years.5 -
I'm 4'11.75" and at my highest weight I was 182. I started back up with MFP 9 days ago and have gone from 177.6 to 175. I want to lead a healthier life and I'm trying to focus on food as fuel rather than pleasure. I've also added exercise into my routine. I'm sore, but I like the challenge. My goal (for now) is getting to 150 by the end of April. I would love to have more friends in a similar situation so feel free to add me!0

Let you know how it goes. I am not anywhere as small as anyone that has posted so far. I am 5' and 30 yrs old. I weighed 500 lbs in 2010. When I started at the gym three weeks ago I weighed 304 lbs. So that is going to be my before picture. My "after"picture is actually my current picture. I am no where near my goal weight, but I am still working on it.
Before at 315 lbs
After at 286 lbs

How long did it take you to hit that weight?0 -
This is my before pic. 210lbs. 5'3" tall. This pic was taken in 2012, but my weight hasn't changed much since then and it's the only full body I have. I started on Monday November 9th,2015 to change. I know the holidays are coming up, but I'll stick to my diet changes and make either xmas eve or xmas day my cheat day or New Year's Eve or day my cheat day. I'm currently just changing my eating habits. I work 4 ten hour days so finding time after that it hard and I'm tired.
I know this is on the success page, but I feel I can accomplish this.0 -
