    I am 5'1 (25 years) and started around 160lbs. Having an initial goal of dropping weight is definitely the easiest way to get started. I think for me, as I learnt more about the process and my preferences, I was able to gauge what was best for my lifestyle and energy levels.

    Find something that you can keep up consistently and enjoy, I find your goals will evolve (eg. instead of losing weight, you'll start wanting to be stronger or gain more endurance - with these these things, sometimes a number isn't the most important thing).

    Whatever you choose to do, keep at it! :)

    Hi, I am 5ft 1 with starting weight of 153lbs, I want to get to 120lbs as I feel that is probably the most achievable for me to be able to maintain and ideally would like to get there by April, not sure how realistic that is. Looking through the pics for inspiration. If anyone wants to buddy up for support, that would be great!

    I feel like going slow and steady and build up 5 lbs at a time.
