    As you can see this is our baby - 9 week old bundle of fun!!! Meet Matty - a springer/cocker mix - a sprocker. He is just adorable and so cute - he of course has the run of the house and twists all of us round his little paw! Having said that - he is a very clever boy indeed - after having him for just one week he is trained to go outside to do his 'potty' - now if I could just train him to clean up after all the family it would be just perfect!!

    See if you can find a Great Dane rescue in your area. You could certainly get one for way less than $1200. And even if you wanted a puppy you could probably get one, you just might have to wait for it. You could always offer to foster for them. I never could do that because I wouldn't be able to give them up when they got a fur-ever home.

    I second this! After my Dane died, I couldn't commit to another one so I fostered. Two years and 12 Danes later, I adopted a Yorkie mix (long story).
