I was a manager at Arby's. There was one of those car washes next door, the type where the employees wash the customers car, detail, everything. The manager over there showed up one day while I was making a shake for another customer. My GM said, "Hi, Josh. How are you today?" He said, "I'm good, you?" I was completely done with men at that point, but for some reason, his voice made me turn my head to look and he was standing there staring at me. I turned back around really quick, because I knew I had just started turning bright red. Finally about 10 seconds later my GM said, "So are you going to order today or just stand there?" ha-ha. Yep. He said, "OH. Yeah I'm going to order!" He ordered his food and ran out of the restaurant. He started coming in practically every day after that. I would casually talk to him like I did with everyone else. One of my off days, I got dressed up, left my girls with a sitter, and showed up to get my car detailed. Instead of going up to the main desk, I walked up to him. My face blood red, I asked him how much it would cost me. He said that since I was a manager I got my car detailed for free, because we always gave their employees a cup to come in and get drinks throughout the day. Then, he said he would wash my car. I told him thanks and ran over to my job to hide. Lol. My GM kept yelling at me to get out of her store until I went to talk to him, so while he was working on my windows, I went over and told him my boss wouldn't let me stay in the store. I apologized for my mess in my car, and he told me he had seen much worse. He said he would be done with it in about 10 minutes. I said okay, and ran back over to my job again lol. My boss forgot to tell me we were supposed to tip the workers for doing our cars, so I got my car and ran to the bank. Usually they only get tipped between 2 and 5 dollars. I pulled out 10 bucks and went back to the car wash. I went into the store and asked for him and half of the guys there ran out of the room to go get him! He came back out, I thanked him for dealing with my car and handed him the 10 bucks and ran out of the building. I looked when I went to drive away, and him and the other manage were high fiving each other haha.
The next time I worked, we were dead and he came in. I asked if he was getting his usual, and he said no. He wanted me to make him a shake, and "a roast beef... ummm. with your number please?" lol. I looked at him and smiled. I said I will get your food right now! I walked away, turned back around and said "you do realize that I have kids right?" "Yes, I cleaned your car, remember?" haha. I went back wrote down my number, and hid the number behind his cup in my hand. When I went to give him his food, still hiding the number, he looked depressed lol. So i dropped my number onto his tray and told him to enjoy his drink and sandwich and the rest of his day.
We have been practically inseperable since that day. We now not only have my two girls, but a boy who will be 3 months old on the 9th of this month. We are married too!
I never thought I would get that fairy tale moment, let alone in a restaurant, but hey my story is pretty dang romantic!0 -
No need to look any further... you can have mine. I am due for a replacement anyway.

My husband and I officially met junior year in highschool at a friends pool party(We had a class together the year before but I thought he was really strange so I stayed away from him). I met my husband when I was 20 years old in my Junior year of college in 2002. We were taking an Ornithology class together. I asked him if he would like to study with me. We started dating. It took me a few months to figure out he'd lied about his age. He was 30 years old though he told me he was 26. He was afraid I wouldn't date him. In January of 2003 he asked me to marry him. In February we found out we were expecting our first baby. We've been married almost 10 years now and we have four little girls. We have had our ups and downs but we're making it.0

A dating internet site. We talked on the phone for 2 weeks. We had planned to meet for lunch the following week but I was so anxious to meet him, I dressed up to go out with my cousin to a bar and last minute I told my cousin I couldn't go and texted him and asked him if he wanted to meet up somewhere. He was in the middle of dinner with his extended family. He left them behind - and told them all to find a way home.0

I had an account on formspring.me where people go to ask you questions. I went on mysteryseeker.com and posted the link so someone would find it and ask me stuff. He happened to find it, for some reason followed the link, then two days later we were in a relationship. This was very nearly three years ago and we're engaged. Woop.0

We partied with the same larger group of people, so we met each other several times over the course of a few months (most of which I don't really remember :P), we really started talking one day when I posted a tofu recipe on facebook and he said "OMG you're a vegetarian too!?"..we talked for about 24 hours straight. We bonded quickly over our mutual attitudes about food, cats, and government haha. This month will be the one year anniversary of our first date0

We were at a leadership camp (with about 100 other people), him and I met on the last night, the following night everyone met up for drinks, and he offered to pick me up. So he did, we got to the bar, I began drinking while he remained sober, and he was going to take me home but then his car got stolen. So he ended up drinking with me, we did a lot of kissing. Then we went on a couple of dates, he asked me to be his gf, I said no (what a *****, right?), but a year and a half later we started hanging out again and he asked me out, telling me he'd pretty much loved me since he met me, and now a year and a half into it we're still very much in love ^^ (just working out some issues -sigh)0

Facebook.
We were both juniors in high school in February of 2010. I was 17; he was 16. I went to Catholic school - he went to a public school about 30 minutes away. My good friend who went to my school lived near him and knew him. She said she would set us up but never did. So one day I saw that she had a Facebook status that he had commented on. So I, being oh so sneaky and a little smitten with his profile picture, commented on it. He commented back, I commented... I think we left her about 85 notifications before switching to Facebook chat. We ended up meeting in person about 3 weeks later at the movies. We made it official on March 17th, 2010. We dated for about a year and a half during high school, went to prom together, ect. I broke up with him inbetween high school and college because I was going to college in Florida and he was staying back in NJ. We got back together 7 weeks later (9/17/11) - the best decision I've made so far in my life.
We've now been together for over a year continuously with a combined total of 2.5 years. We live together over summer and breaks and talk about getting married in the distant future. He's my best friend0 -
We met on Plentyoffish.com He was the one who sent me the first message, and I thought I'm not going to respond to him, he looks like a punk (lol yes he knows this). After a couple days I responded to his message thinking what is it going to hurt, I'm deleting my profile by the end of the week anyways. We met January 1, 2012 started dating mid February. He met my parents and brothers (sister in laws), at Easter and by mid May he had moved in. We have our ups and downs, but honestly, I wouldn't trade him for the world. I thinks he's the best thing for me and me for him! BTW I had lots of terrible dates on POF, so I know the good and the bad from online dating.0

I met my husband on Match.com. It was kinda comical because he had a pt job next door to the place I had my ft job for the last 10 years but we NEVER met one another. He even got his hair cut regularly at the salon I worked for, in the same station I shared with another girl. Craziness.0
