    Turkey bacon is an abomination to this world. Should be illegal. Only thing worse is chicken bacon.

    As a society, why have we sunk so low?

    BACON is from a pig. Plain and simple.

    Take your turkey bacon and peddle it elsewhere. It is fake bacon.

    I had a friend who lied to me when making BLT's and said it was real bacon. I took 2 bites and dropped the sandwich and told him to fess up. He lied three times before I dug into his trash can and pulled out the turkey bacon package.

    We are no longer friends. YOU DON'T LIE ABOUT BACON.

    I don't understand American food. I don't know what turkey bacon is (even from that description!). I also heard someone say "sausage biscuit" which sounds like a term on endearment, not a food!

    One bite was enough for me. Disgusting stuff in my book, will stick to REAL bacon and adjust my calories elsewhere so I can enjoy I do love my bacon :love:

    I eat it only because my husband doesn't like for us to eat pork. Actually, he refuses to eat pork for religious reasons. He also believes pork is an unhealthy meat choice. I prefer real bacon and love the taste of it. And ground pork perfects a bolognese sauce *sigh*

    for someone who has a body that INSTANTLY rejects pork, turkey bacon is a WONDERFUL thing... barely eat that salty stuff but it is nice knowing that I can enjoy "bacon" when I want to...:wink:

    Personally, I don't like the taste of any meat other than turkey..so this is a blessing for me, lol!

    It is a life saver......... I am highly allergic to pork, so for me to get any kind of satisfaction having just a nice bacon and eggs breakfast, it works great for me. So yay to the turkey bacon makers........lol

    I can tell by looking at it. We wouldnt be friends either. Not only because he lied but also because I would kick his turkey strip lying butt! Hed hate me. Nobody plays with my bacon. Bacon makes life feel good. Im Mike and I approve this message.

    Turkey "bacon" is just wrong. Fake bacon flavored turkey styrofoam.

    I couldn't have stuck to this diet and lost any weight without being able to eat bacon. Bacon is good for the soul and the taste buds. I buy my bacon from a local meat producer. It is so lean I hardly get any grease in the pan.

    What the heck is turkey bacon? Bacon comes from pigs. What they should call it is thinly sliced turkey strips. I hate it. It tastes nothing like bacon. If hate when people create things to say its healthier. I would just eat the real stuff more responsibly. Instead of eating real bacon everyday, Ill just eat it every othere day if its not healthy. I hate the creation of turkey bacon.

    Why do we have to ruin bacons reputation with a healthier option. The key to it is just to eat less of it. Bacon is so perfect! We dont need an alternative to something so brilliant. Can I go to a restaraunt and order a TBLT(Turkey Bacon Lettuce Tomato)? NOOOO!! It doesnt exist!     Actually TBLT does exist - it's sliced turkey, (pig) bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo, and is one of my favorite sandwiches.

    I also love good turkey bacon. It's not like regular bacon where any cheap brand is pretty good; you have to seek out the good stuiff.

    I used to eat it over bacon because I prefer the taste rather than for nutritional differences. I don't see why your getting so riled over semantics they name it turkey bacon/ham because it probably sells better than a product called "Turkey which has been artificially flavoured with pork flavour".

    I grew up eating it instead of the real stuff, my Dad is allergic to pork, it makes him really sick. So I don't mind it. But I can see your point. Sad that you don't like bacon though... missing out.

    I love everything else turkey. I love turkey just hate that turkey strips are called turkey "bacon." I rarely eat beef so I do use turkey for meatballs, meatloaf etc.

    Yeah you said the key word with "Real Bacon" Thats my point you eat it with turkey deli meat and Real Bacon! lol
