Please tell me what you are doing to loose the weight. I have 6lbs I am trying to loose before the end of next week. I started my challenge awhile ago. I did not know about this one. I go the gym daily except on Sundays and I stay within the calorie counter on here except suger for some reason; LOL
Any ideas on how to do this without starving myself? Thanks0 -

I'm losing true weight (fat loss w/ some muscle loss probably) by making sure I eat less calories than I expend throughout the day. You need to check your BMR and TDEE and it somewhere between there. Search for the thread "in place of a road map" that will give you a good guideline to how much you should be eating each day.
If you exercise a lot and you keep your diet in check you should be losing weight. Losing 6 pounds by the end of next week is next to impossible if you want true fat loss. Maybe you could lose water weight but that's not true weight loss. Don't get so obsessed with a number on the scale though whether you lose 1,2,3,4,5,6 pounds by next week honestly doesn't matter. If you put a timeframe to your weight loss you probably will get disappointed which can lead to failure. Measure yourself. If you are losing inches you are moving in the right direction. Sometimes I notice I lose inches before I lose pounds because my body holds on to some water for a little while after I lose some fat.

1st week ~ I'm MOST thankful & grateful for God Healing me in May 2006 from 2 Brain Aneursyms', Paraylsis, and a stroke ( June 2008 ) I am thankful that I have gone from not being able to walk at ALL to now being able to walk without any walking aide.
I am now able to go walking about 2 miles without stopping & I am working out on my BowFlex TreadClimber TC3000 for 12 minutes with two rest in the duration.
2nd Week ~ I am Thankful for My Husband & Daughters' support & NSVs' Compliments! I am so thankful & grateful for they're words of encouragement & praise! They notice & compliment me befor I see my body changes! Especially when the scale isn't my Friend at the moment!0 -

I'm in! I have been recording weekly anyway since I started seriously dieting/exercising and plan to lose 2 more kg (4.4 lbs) by the end of November, let's see if I can!
