Tears of JOY that our President got re elected!
Also that WA state now has given the BASIC CIVIL RIGHTS of marriage to gay people, AND we legalized pot in our state.
    Wonderful. progressive. tears of JOY!

I am so happy! Gay marriage isn't for sure yet, though. I nearly cried for this news today!

Civil rights for my community (gay marriage) being approved by popular vote for the first time in history. I love those states right now.
    Tears of joy rock!

I haven't cried yet, but I have a meeting with a psychotherapist in an hour and I might cry there.

Tears of joy knowing that Obama is in his second and final term. I wonder if he'll take responsibility for anything this time around or will it continue to be "George Bush did it!"

    Legal drugs ?? that's a good thing??

Please consider watching Ken Burns' "Prohibition" series, if you enjoy his historical documentaries. Alcohol is a legal drug. And it has significantly higher risks and fewer therapeutic functions than marijuana.

In Amsterdam, decriminalization actually led to lower marijuana usage, and less 'abuse' (high intoxication, use by minors, etc.) Less crime, safer marijuana, more moderate use. A lot like the results of rollback of prohibition of alcohol in the US.

Seeing Obama's family rejoice with him over his victory and videos of people all over the world also rejoicing brought tears to my eyes. I couldn't really cry as I was about to have a meeting but my eyes sure "welled" up.

Learning a valuable lesson today the hard way: Don't cut below your calories days on end and failed to drink enough water yesterday when you are under stress, trying to clean house for appraisal today, baby-sitting and dog-sitting, and to top it a Railroad husband. Anybody got a spare mop for the tears? My strength is sapped right now in every way......

there wasn't any hazelnut creamer left in the office kitchen this morning! Seriously! How am I supposed to drink my coffee without it?

I actually didn't cry but I did b!tch and moan about it for a good five minutes before grabbing the french vanilla creamer and heading back to my office.

The rest of today WILL suck.

Agreed. Prohibition didn't work and outlawing marijuana is having a similar effect.
