    I consider forums for entertainment purposes only. If I have a legitimate question I usually ask people on my friends list!

    ^^ this. Also agree with the "don't wrestle with pigs" commenter. There's both good and bad in the world, and by extension MFP. Me, I just pay attention to the good.

    Also, OP, you're guilty of lumping EVERYONE on MFP into the same group with this "Shame on you" post. And certainly not everyone is guilty. Those that are don't care about your opinion, those that aren't just agree with you, which still changes nothing. I guess if nothing else, you got it off your chest. So small win for you, if nothing else.

    That's the sad truth of the internet. The semi-anonymity brings out the playground behaviour in people. Trying to talk sense into a group of adults on a forum is as pointless and frustrating as banging your head against a brick wall. Ignore and move on. :wink:

    1) Why did you bother with page two if page one was already filled with irreverent and childish things? Life's too short to read rubbish internet forum threads!

    2) People are people- some are great, others not so much and there's plenty in between. You get them here just like anywhere else. The nice thing with an internet forum is you can choose to move to a different topic.

    So, buck up, don't let the buggers get you down and have fun. :)

    I agree with this. It's getting old seeing all the threads by people who are complaining about mean people/mean threads. It's just a downer. The majority of threads I read aren't mean, but some are. If you find yourself in a nasty place, report abuse and navigate away. If it's not abusive - just annoying - then just navigate away. Focus on the positive! :flowerforyou:
