No fat burners, no keto/ paleo/ atkins/ low carb or whatever diet, no personal trainers and yes no cardio.
Just simple calories in vs calories out with a basic full body weight lifting routine done 3 times a week.
This all took me about 8 months, the far right photo is me last summer:

Yup, people worry too much about the scale and numbers when in reality it's body composition that matters most.0 -

While I agree with that for a 200# man. A 5'8" woman at 190 just wasn't working for me. I'm hoping to thin out to my old 135# then work on putting on muscle in the right places. My husband is retired military and they couldn't base his fitness by height/weight because he is jacked, they had to tape him. I'm not so much worrying about the scale but about feeling comfortable in my own skin.0 -

Congrats. What exercises did you do?
In my workouts I tried to stick to compound movements and do 1 exercise for each body part. Here's a typical workout I'd do:
3 sets of:
Squats
Barbel rows
Inclined dumbbell press
Shoulder press
2 sets of:
Triceps push down
Biceps dumbbell curls
Side lateral raises
And for abs all I did was planks0 -

Fair, thought you carried 200lbs originally 'better' than I did figures you've got a fair bit of height on me. But good results dude!0
