My cousin named her first 2 kids Rowdy (that is his actual name) and KO. KO isn't short for anything and is pronouced with the letters K and O.

She recently had another son with an equally rediculous name, but I don't recall it right now.

There's also the name ****head (pronounced Shi-theed)

Are you from Jax, FL?? when I was delivering my baby girl (@20 years ago) I knew a delivery nurse who told me a baby boy named ****head (Shi-Theed) was born the same day.. Small world if its the same one... weird if there are 2 walking around with the same name LOL

I'm in NC but this child would be in his mid to late 20s by now so possibly. If so, it IS a small world.

    Bertha
    D.I.C.K.

Bertha is the french name for Betty in the Flintstones

I had a friend early in high school who's first name was Saxanne. She hated it and people would tease her by calling her saxophone...
  • I used to teach music and I had a kid in one of my classes named Lucifer. He was the sweetest kid ever, and to make matters worse, his parents would call him Lucy.

Then, there is my adopted sister who found her real mom and decided to name her kid Camren Theresence after her mom Carmen and her husbands mom Theresa. Theresence is "supposed" to be pronounced Terrence.

Dick. I've never liked that name nor have I ever understand why men choose to shorten their real name to that name. LOL. No offense to any of the Dicks on here. :D

Hung Long Dong, I swear to Go*! He was a very nice man, a good looking professional IT guy and Vietnamese, born in VN. When he introduced himself to me, I was only 25 (kinda silly at that age) and I burst out into laughter. He was soooo serious too. It was very hard to contain myself and get a serious face back on, and greet him properly. We later discussed it, and I apologized. He explained that in other languages these are common and acceptable names, and unfortunately has other meanings in English.

I called him Hun or Hunny from there on out.

I'm sorry to hear the stories behind some of these. At least my name (Zoe) is relatively easy to use in a social setting, and actually has a positive story surrounding it.

Ha I got the Forrest Gump thing, too. Which wouldn't have bothered me so much, except it went on for like 10 years, and every single person who did it seemed to think they were the 1st person to think of it.
Also, it was the most common name in the US the year I was born, so I very seldom am part of a group that doesn't include someone of the same name.

I knew a Harry Dixon growing up. His parents were super involved with the church so I don't know why they ended up naming him that...

Also Aiden. That's probably the worst name ever. Or Skyler. I'd rather be a Harry Dixon than an Aiden/Skyler.

In high school there was a boy named Doug Hickey. Not so bad, until of course we turned it around and called him Hug Dickey. Poor *kitten*!

I knew a few. Richard Head an attorney no less. (He would give you the death glare if you called him Dick) A kid named Chris Massengill, not a bad name but poor kid one of the cheerleaders found out Massengill is a type of douche. The worst one was Storey Booke. She went by Steph I think her middle name was Phae or something like that.
