It basically says what the majority of people in this thread are saying. Very low calorie diets (i.e. under your BMR) are generally reserved for obese people and even then they are limited to short terms. Burning fat does not provide your body with anything but energy. There are no essential vitamins, nutrients, or minerals in fat. If you are not eating a healthy diet and staying at or above your BMR you are just going to screw your body up and most likely end up gaining some or all of your weight back.
Also, to the person who has a nutritionist that says net doesn't matter and you are ok on a 900 calorie daily, I would get a second opinion.0
