Any music makes me emotional now. Just cant seem to listen to a song now. I have tried many times to play a song and focus on listening to it but I stop it midway because its painful. Personal bull****...dont bother asking.

Anyway, back when I used to listen to music...

    1. Love Will Tear Us Apart - Joy Division (something about that song...you can feel the heartache)
    2. While My Guitar Gently Weeps (every single ****ing version)
    3. Jumpin Jack Flash (this always used to kick me into an emotional high...)
    4. California Dreamin'

    just to name a few

Eric Clapton's - Tears in Heaven.

Doesn't make me emotional; per se... But when I hear it, I'm reminded of the tragedy that occured for him to write it (His 4 year old son's death). And that's pretty sad. It would be awefull to have that happen.
    love that song too, tragedy!
For me one is Guns N Roses; Knockin' on Heavens Door- my stepdad loved that song and he passed away a few years ago.
also Bob Marley; No Women No Cry- my mom played bob marley loud in the mornings when I was young , she lives far and I moved out when I was 16 so its been 15 years away from my mom with maybe 9 visits (it sucks!)
when I was missing my first love due to long distance relationship; Ozzy: see you on the other side, he played this song a lot when we were together (we have been together for 17 years now)

    Dance With My Father
    You are My Sunshine
    Layla
    The Leader of the Band
Any Eric Clapton song from the 70's reminds me of my dad. So does Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. (Cry instantly when I hear any of 'em.)
Also most Christmas songs (even Frosty at times) and Patriotic songs.
My kids were just making fun of me the other day because The Little Drummer Boy set me off.
    Yep, I'm a sap.:blushing:

not sure if it's been said yet...

"Alyssa Lies" by Jason Michael Carroll.

It's a country song about a little girl who is abused at home... makes me tear up every single time.
