Lunch was basically the previous salad but on GF seed bread (with turkey breast, swiss, romaine, mighty caeser dressing and pickles...If I could live off of pickles )

I second! I would love to have the recipe!
It's super easy.
into a slowcooker put:
Lambshanks
1 can of blackbeans (drained/rinsed)
Pearl barley (Now, I put one handful for each person... I have small hands though. LOL)
2 or 3 cups of water
3 Tablespoons (yes) of paprika.
1 Tablespoon of ground cumin.
a Tablespoon (that overflows) of honey.
dried chilli to taste.
(sometimes I put a can of tomatoes in, but that time that is pictured I don't think I did.)
I turned my slowcooker onto 'slow' before I went to bed and then turned it off before I went to work the next day, then when I got home from work put the slowcooker on 'high' for an hour to reheat it.
Sometimes I add some extra honey before I serve it, depending on a taste test.0 -

The last couple of days have been pretty good -- summer produce is the best produce!
Lunch yesterday and today. Leftover lemon-dill roasted drumstick, gazpacho salad. I could eat buckets and buckets of that salad.
It was crazy overcast this morning (hence the dark photo), so I had some oven-toasted French bread with a little butter, a fluffy scrambled egg, and a fresh kiwi.
Lunch three days ago. It kind of looks like catsick on lettuce, but it was actually delicious. Tuna mashed with avocado, lemon, and dill on a bed of mixed greens with some cherry tomatoes.
Yesterday's breakfast. More oven-toasted French bread with avocado and a strip of bacon, black Muscadine grapes, strawberries.
Last night's AMAZING dinner. Stir-fry of chicken, yellow & orange peppers, and fresh broccoli in a fantastic homemade sauce. (Turns out fish sauce is the secret to great Asian dishes. Who knew? Aside from everyone on earth who isn't me?) Whole braised artichoke on the side with a buttery sauce concocted of butter and ICBINB spray melted together with a dash of lemon juice. I know that sounds awful but it's really good; I made my artichoke sauce that way long before I counted calories.
Breakfast from... I don't know, three days ago? Yet more toasted French bread with Laughing Cow Swiss, bacon, strawberries.0 -
"catsick on lettuce" LOL... a lot of my meals look like that too.0

Thai fish curry in red sauce with veggies, herbs and fried onions. With glutinous rice to mop all this beautiful sauce.
