A must read for EVERYONE.

I dont know about all of you, but when i read this I got a tear in my eye. This was read on the Dr Phil Show ::::

Twas 11 days before christmas, around 9:38
when 20 beautiful children stormed though heaven's gate.
Their smiles were contagious, their laughter filled the air,
they could hardly believe all the beauty they saw there.
they were filled with such joy, they didnt know what to say.
they remembered nothing of what had happened earlier that day.
"where are we?" asked a little girl, as quiet as a mouse
"this is heaven." declared a small boy.
"we're spending christmas in God's house."
when what to their wondering eyes did appear, but jesus,
their savior, the children gathered near.
He looked at them and smiled, and they smiled just the same,
then he opened his arms and called them by name.
and in that moment was joy, that only heaven can bring.
those children all flew into the arms of their king
and as they lingered in the warmth of his embrace,
one small girl turned and looked at Jesus' face
and as if he could read all the questions she had
he gently whispered to her, "I' ll take care of mom and dad"
then he looked down on Earth, the world far below
He saw all the hurt, the sorrow, and woe then he closed his eyes
and he outstretched his hand,
"Let my power and presence re-enter this land!"
"may this country be delivered from the hands of fools"
"Im taking back my nation, Im taking back my schools!"

Funny how people mock and ridicule God and belittle Christians until there is a great catastrophe or trajedy.

    Good poem and I wish.

Keep the "Christ" in "Christmas" just like we should all keep the "bible thumping" in "horrific tragedy"

And then the Christians continue to mock and belittle non-Christians.

having a beef sandwich delivered just isn't the same as going there and smelling the place and talking yourself into an order of onion rings

I got onion rings today too, you should just ask for onion rings when they call, you know you won't regret it. Even if you're full you'll still eat them. Do they come with some kind of ranch dippin' sauce?

No it's against the rules is what it is. Great if you find it beautiful. I think it's tacky and in poor taste.

No. People are taking rightful offense at how dismissive this poem is. It's implicitly saying this tragedy would not have happened if "God was in schools." Oh, now we're in a "divisive" topic, forbidden on main MFP forums, which every person who's said, "This is great," should very well know. Plus, you know, this is essentially political, as well, because of the First Amendment, the Treaty of Tripoli, and all other precedents that highlight the separation of church and state in the US... that's a divisive topic, too.

I've said my peace. Return to menus plz. I am a food voyeur.

    Twenty children had died,
so I took this as my chance,
    to proselytize.
