Just got a Zipbit Zip. 3,000 is a rest day or day when I do other exercise,5,000 is an average active day and over 10,000 is a good day. The Zipbit is registering less steps than my pedometer did and my steps will go down now that I am not doing one of my active jobs. However I want to motivate myself to up my general activity while upping my exercise up to my normal level again so this month I will see what is my base to improve from. My goal is to try to go over 5,000 as many days as possible. So 175000 is my goal for the month, with an average of 6,000.
1/1 4646 (not bad for a rest day)
1/2 5055 (active work day may up it tomorrow after I have the final total)
1/3 3545 (also did 130+ minutes of exercise, Aquafit, strength training and some cardio with an HRM)
1/4 4850 (active short work day)
1/5 already at 4900+ and the day isn't over yet0 -

Yesterday I was traveling in the car for more than two hours and in a meeting that lasted nine hours with almost no chance to sneak out and walk so even with a long walk with my dogs in the morning before I left home, I had to jog in place while watching TV at bedtime to get enough steps to satisfy me..

Count me in, I have to up my exercise as I am getting married in March and need to lose a few lbs. I have been laid up recovering from an operation for the last 10 weeks so starting on the 1st Jan I will be getting back on my feet.
