Am I really the only person that cracks an egg into their oatmeal? I put 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1 cup water, 1/4 tsp salt, 2 tbsp stevia in the raw, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, and 1/4 tsp vanilla extract with 1/2 cup rolled oats and microwave it for 5 minutes at 50% power.. then throw an egg in there and stir it up and microwave it until the oatmeal thickens. It basically turns into a gigantic bowl of hot brownie batter. Delicious. Sometimes I add some blueberries, raspberries, cherries, or PB2.

Not for long! That sounds delicious

Cinnamon and blend in 2 TBSP of one of the following: Smuckers Sugar-free Preseves, boysenberry, red raspberry, blueberry, apricot, peach or orange marmalade. it's awesome yummy, fills you up AND is a nice zero sweet tooth fix.

I usually make mine with water. I've had a hard time getting to my calorie goal on lifting day recently though so I'm trying milk, but I haven't perfected it. I go through spurts where I add the same thing forever then I'll randomly switch.

    Currently I do:
    1/2c old fashioned oats
    1c water or milk
    1 tbsp raw cacao nibs
    1/2 ounce walnuts
2 tsp raw local honey (its for my allergies I swear)
splash of milk if I didn't make it with milk

Other things I've put in my oatmeal (most of them seem pretty popular)- cranberries, apples, peanut butter, chia seeds, banana, and pumpkin pie spice.

Wow, so apparently the exciting Oatmeal bandwagon passed me by!

I've always just eaten it with milk, but never enjoyed it!

Maybe one of these ones will spice it up a bit :)

I saw a recipe for baked oatmeal on the Food Network and found several healthy recipes on-line. Has anyone ever tried it?

Apples or apple sauce. If I do instant oatmeal, I usually try to stick to the lower sugar Quaker variety and add a tub of lite cinnamon apple sauce to it (50 cals). Or I do steel cut oats in the crockpot and add a few cubed up apples, some cinnamon and a little bit of brown sugar (water for liquid).

Dried fruit. I'm trying to give up refined sugar, so this is a slightly healthier way of adding some sweetness!
