I feel like I get lots of compliments on my energy, kindness and work ethic (says the guy typing this at work), but the best compliment I go back to is a student of mine years ago saying "You're really happy teaching us, aren't you?" I said "Of course," He then told me, it meant a lot to have a teacher who was so happy to be with his class. I've always gotten along with my students and received numerous compliments about my class, but this one has stuck with me the most.
