Has anyone tried the Red Velvet Pop Tarts? I saw them at the store the other day and I'm wondering if they're worth a damn. How about Confetti Cake? Pumpkin Pie?

I have the red velvet. They're okay. The confetti cupcake is disgusting. It tastes like flour.

AND PUMPKIN PIE POPTARTS ARE THE ****.

/gasp I have NEVER seen those in my stores!! I would so eat one if I had that flavor. Other than that, they aren't my thing. I'd rather have a toaster strudel!

I hate the cinnamon ones. And any one without frosting on them. They piss me off. But hey I'll still eat em if those are the only kind in the pantry.

Can't believe I'm the first one to proclaim a love for the ice cream sundae pop tarts.....sooo gooey right out of the toaster!! But I have to agree -- the brown sugar & cinnamon are the close 2nd... :D

Pop Tarts are like everything else. Always better with ice cream and beer

    You forgot bacon.

Toasted brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts with melted butter. My god, no wonder I was a fat kid.

So many cals for so little food. Ugh! Just can't do it. I'd rather eat 80 lbs of carrots. At least I'd be full. I'm not full at all after a 200 calorie pop tart. And if one is a serving, why are two in each little package?

I have never had Pop tarts before and they just don't look that appealing to me. I prefer other things like blueberry muffins

Pumpkin Pie (I can't believe I'm going to say this) was better than the chocolate! That was some good shniz right there. I haven't seen the others.
  • Pop Tarts = greatness.
  • Chocolate Fudge PopTarts are the BEST!
Now they make these whole grain, oatmeal ones...strawberry and mapley brown sugar.
They aren't bad..hold you over more if you're going to eat them as a meal...but DEFINITELY not my chocolate fudge!

    I agree.

Root beer floats should be on this list as well.

On one hand, 2 Pop Tarts are 500 shockingly empty calories - basically sugar, processed carbs and palm oil with a little transfat and artificial colors and preservatives thrown in. Also, if left in the toaster they will burn your house down.

On the other hand, they are filling and delicious in an odd way.

I too prefer them unfrosted. It's a shame you can't buy just one tart.

Confetti cake = yuck. Stole a couple bites of my daughter's and it was like a fake, sickly sweet taste. Bleh.
  • I love the crust on pop tarts. My husband likes the fillings, so we share. Pop tarts are kinda rad like that.

i LOVE poptarts!! I MUST find those red velvet mentioned here! My current fav: COOKIES n CREME! <3<3
  • Try living in the UK. Frosted Chocolate or Strawberry is ALL we have had for years.
Unless you buy them at a US food store, then they are like 12$ a pack.

One supermarket has just branched into Apple&Cinnamon, Cherry and Wild Berry too but if im gonna eat them I want Smores, Oreo or Cake Batter, anything with fruit in just doesnt cut it!

I actually stock piled the Limited Edition Hot Chocolate ones from this past December. I have a box and a half left. I can't squeeze in the calories all the time, but oooo! when I do! Those are my favorite!

And now I see there is a new LE - Red Velvet?! I hope I can find these... I'll probably stock pile those too.

I don't know if it's because I never had one until I was 26 (mom NEVER bought them) or I'm just weird but I think Pop Tarts are awful. No chore for me to leave them alone.
