Great Big Sea puts on an amazing show. (A Newfoundland band who sings a lot of Irish drinking songs, etc)

The best concert though was the New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys. (Yes, hardy har har) It was amazing, full of energy, I can't wait to go again this year.

Same here!!! FOR THE NKOTB package!! Already got my VIP seats!!

Train and Maroon 5 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre (http://www.redrocksonline.com ~ seriously the most gorgeous place you'll ever see a concert! Train's latest video was shot there too...). A close 2nd was under a full moon at Red Rocks was Keith Urban.

Metallica (...And Justice For All) & G N R (Appetite for Destruction) A W E S O M E! Yes, they were together. And I was like 12...best parents ever. And then my first Dead show (even though they were old) b/c the NO balloons were awesome.
I went to that concert too. Sept '92. I was a little older than you, in college. James Hetfield had broke his arm and was performing in a cast. Metallica was much better than GnR.

Woodstock '94 was the best I've been too.
    NIN '95
    Foo Fighters
    Smashing Pumpkins
    Crosby, Stills, Nash, Young
Grateful Dead '91 was the first big concert I went to.

The Rolling Stones summer 1994. Voodoo lounge tour at RFK stadium. They were freaking awesome.

29 years ago...The Monkees... Snuck up to empty space in the second row. I caught Davey Jones' sweaty towel that he threw into the audience.. and some old lady grabbed it out of my hands. Yeah, I was 11 at the time.. it was a HUGE deal to an 11 year old.

Paul Simon's Rythmn of the saint's tour.

Oingo Boingo, BNL, and James Taylor ALWAYS put on fabulous concerts. I have seen all three many, many times and ALWAYS feel like I'm getting my money's worth.

Robert Plant and Jimmy Page on the No Quarter tour. To be fair though, no one could see anything after about 15 minutes...but the music coming through the fog in the arena was awesome!

Best concert ever for me was Pink Floyd at Soldier Field in Chicago, 1994. Incredible show, the facts that it rained only made it better during the laser light effects. Trippy as hell!

First concert i ever saw holds a special place because it was first. 1986, Ratt headlined with Poison as the opener. Huge Ratt fan, but didn't like Poison because of their "glam" looks and MTV image at the time. But they won me over that night because they literally looked like something the cat had drug in. No glam at all, and they killed! Ratt was awesome that night also!
  • Kenny Chesney concert two summers ago = ]]

    With:

    Uncle Cracker (not a fan)
    Billy Currington
    Zac Brown Band

One of the best nights of my life, hands down.
