I'm new to MyFitnessPal - just completed my first marathon (26.2) in Jan and did my first half marathon (13.1) in Nov. Unfortunately, with the marathons, training and holidays, I've put on 16 lbs... Very excited to have reached my goal to complete the marathon but dissappointed that I put on lbs doing so.. Now to get motivated to watch those carbs..

Total weight lost: 9 lbs. since I started back up at all of this in January. I was pretty proud of that. Ater a couple of set-backs the past couple of weeks, I have really got to buckle down and get this going again. I am also doing measurements just in case I am not able to see a difference on the scale. I am in a wedding on June 1st and I would ideally love to be at 199 by that point. I know I can do it, I am 36 lbs away now, and I have the rest of February and 3 more months after that. I just have to work hard and keep myself accountable!
Just for fun: What are you going to do for yourself when you lose 9 pounds this month? A pedicure sounds nice...probably that. I haven't really thought of rewards before, but that sounds like a good plan!0 -
