I didn't have a scale on Jan 1 but got one about 2 weeks in.

Since getting the scale, I've lost 9 but I was losing before that ... so I'm estimating 18.

I lost what I gained in December, thanks to the holidays. Now I'm back on track and hitting the gym with "The New Rules of Lifting For Women"

6 pounds, breaking a plateau I'd been on since the beginning of December into the second week of January.

I have only managed to lose 8lb in 23 days (that's since January 14th)

only? I'd say that's pretty good. It's taken me 5 months to lose a mere 12 pounds.

I've only lost 5 lbs as of my weigh-in last Friday, but I also didn't really get out of holiday mode and back on track with my weight loss until around mid January.

 Thanks for making me check this, I've been being down on myself thinking the weight wasn't shifting but I've lost 6.4lbs in 5 weeks (1.28lb per week) That's really good as I'm only set to lose 0.5lb per week AND I've just upped my calories again :drinker:
  • 31bs...and no more...I don't really know what else to do, my fiancé has lost so much and I am stuck :-( But I am sticking with the exercise and the healthy eating..so we shall see what happens!

1/2 pound. i'm at the end of my journey now and i with all the working out i do, i find it hard to lose weight. (Doing Insanity Right now, along with the running i normally do) either way i am happy that i lose that 1/2 pound. :)

I committed to getting healthy and losing weight on January 3, 2013. Since then I've lost 11 lbs. I want to lose a total of 50 so I'm already over a 1/5 of the way to my goal.

Don't judge your weight loss off of ours. We're all doing different things and our bodies are all different. However, since I started on 1/12, I've lost 8 pounds.

I've lost 18 lbs! Now before anyone fusses at me please let me explain! Before the first of the year i ate junk ALL the ime and LOTS of it! I drank a LOT of "adult beverages" and had not stepped foot in the gym in quite a while!! So I decided the this was going to be my year. I stay under my calories almost everyday (logging onto MFP daily), drink ONLY water and work out at least 5 times a day. It's been awesome to see what old fashion diet and exercise can do for you!! I KNOW it will taper off soon and when it does I am fully prepared to switch things up! Cheers to new healthy lifestyles! I'm leaving that old fat girl in the dust!!!
