Everyone on here looks so great, and such an inspiration to see so many people work toward their goals because they are capable. I know too many people who have had the lapband because (their answers) "it's quicker" it's easier".

Losing weight the right way by no means is easy, but you learn alot by the time you are finished losing and going into maintenance for the rest of your life.

You can look at my profile and see my befores and nows if you'd like.

Good luck to everyone just starting the journey, and know that it's only failing if you give up!

I've lost 129 in just over a year and still more to go. No surgery, no gimmicks, just concentrating on a healthy lifestyle. BTW I'm short and 55, if I can do it, YOU can do it! :flowerforyou:

Hi, does 305# qualify? LOL, you can check out my profile. To answer your question, yes it can be done. There are lots of here that do it without "the surgery".

Thank all of you for inspiration! I am just starting out on my 100+ to lose ( down 23 so far) and would LOVE to add any of you who've been thru it or are going thru the weight loss process!! I use a balanced "realistic" food plan and exercise about 5 times a week. Anyhow please add me!
