    Man you guys are so cynical. I experience that in real life too. The jerks have spoiled it for all us guys. Women get barraged with unwanted overtures, so when a decent good looking guy shows up, they have their guards way up.

    How do you guys make friends with creeping people out with a request?

    Have more pics on your profile than just the headless torso. Fill out your "About me" section so people know WHY you're here.
    You can easily shed some light on your fitness achievements, goals and interests while still staying anonymous.
    People want to be friends with those that they have something in common.

    I always read the profile of anyone that sends me a FR before I make the decision to add them or not.

    Blank profiles comes off as creepy. Sorry. That's just the way it is.

    I have to agree the ladies on MFP are gorgeous. But then this is a health and fitness site and the ladies should certainly display the results of their hard work. They've earned it. We guys aren't that bad either, I have to say!

    At first I thought it was just a coincidence that pretty girls were posting on some threads. But every single one of them is a looker, easily 7.5-10. I think the explanation is selection-bias. Only the good looking ones take care of their health. Impressive collection we got going here.

    Not really................I am butt ugly and take care of myself.
