    Day 9 - 80 minutes of swimming (60 in laps, 20 in calisthenics/treading water) along with campus walks to and from the car/class/study area and standing/walking IN class.

    @ tazmac2 - Cleaning counts as a walk in my book! Especially for that length of time. Great job in keeping on the move.

    Day 16 - worked out with the trainer for 30min and she wore me out! Also walked on a treadmill to warm-up and cool down for a total of 30min.

    Day 17 - today, went to the gym and worked out my sore legs on the Elliptical and did a little weight training.

    I can't believe I'm almost done!!!

    Day 10 - Gardening (lots of bending, stretching, pulling weeds, hand raking mulch), walking briskly (about 45 mins all told as I shopped in and out of different stores), 20 minutes with kinect zumba!

    Day 11: Nothing to really claim, but I didn't sit still either. Though, I guess you could say that I had 20 mins of food prep while helping mom put together dinner, and about 20 minutes after dinner washing the pots and pans. (After dinner clean up is part of the daily routine, so I don't count that in my journal.) Don't know where today went!

    DAY 26 - 30 March 2013

    Walking for 2 hours 2 - 2.5 pace ..... It may have been more than that were out and about for hours with a steady stroll around a market for 2+ hours and then several errands...

    DAY 27 - 31 March 2013

    I would say this is my first "rest day" since I started - invited out for Easter dinner where I helped with dishes and clean up for approx. 1/2 hour after dinner.... but that was the most of my efforts! :smile:

    DAY 28 - 01 April 2013

    TM walk today as the rain is blowing sideways out there!! 40 min @ 3.5 pace = 15 min with incline 25 min without incline

    Day 12 - 50 minutes resistance training (40 on free weights, 10 on floor/body weight exercises), 30 minutes on the tredmill @ 2.9 average rate (1.5 min on a 3 degree incline, rest on .5), 40 minutes walking to/from/between classes/car/around campus. (not logged, but still have another 10 mins or so prepping lunch for tomorrow/making evening snack/ making drinks for tonight/tomorrow morning.)

    @Tazmac2 - great days 26, 27, and 28! You are rocking this, even though you've passed your initial goal. Keep it up!

    Day 19 - Elliptical Trainer for 30min.

    Tomorrow is my Day 20!!!!! I have a Zumba class to attend. Can't wait! And Day 21 is my final day with my trainer. No doubt she's gonna kick my butt ;)

    Day 13 - Campus walk (1 mile for the entire class day, dodging rain drops), 1 hr in the pool (all 4 competitive strokes plus side stroke, a short warm up, a little stretching after set 2)

    @ tazmac2 - great day for you. Hope your weather continues to cooperate so you can keep sneaking out over lunch.

    OK, so it's April 2/13 and I just joined myfitnesspal today. I'm going to try to walk (briskly) 30 min. at least 3 x a week for starters. I need all the support I can get so I can hang in there. Will keep posting on my progress. Joiesmama

    Day 20 -yesterday: Zumba class for one hour and MAN! that was a work OUT!

    Day 21 - today: last day with trainer for now. We worked together for 20min after I did a 10min warm-up on the treadmill and then used the Elliptical for 20min post working out with the trainer.

    Thanks to this challenge, I have lost 10lbs, and between 1 and 2 inches in my arms, legs, waist, hips, bust -- my thighs took the win for going down 3 inches!!!! I'm so excited! And I can actually see my body changing. Thanks for posting this challenge. This has helped me develop a very healthy lifestyle and I will continue to set small goals like these so I can continue to see my progress.
