Se'a. It's a Samoan "delicacy"' that my dad made me try once. Fermented sea cucumber innards. Yeah...I wanted to puke.

That I know of, I would say squirrel. But my family is from east Texas, so who knows what was in the stew.....

According to everyone I didn't grow up with, dried cuttlefish strips are considered 'weird'.

I think they're just considered delicious.

I love this. In Hawaii (where I grew up), it's sold everywhere. Even places like 7-11 and the ice cream man have it! :)

i eat dragon fruit on daily basis
If you were a 'Game of Thrones' character, that could take on a whole new meaning. Cool.

If you were in Stannis' army you'd pig out on horse & fellow humans :)

I'd say, off the top of my head, menudo (tripe) and crustaceans because they're like the roaches of the sea.

Buttons. I decided to practice swallowing them so I could learn to swallow pills. I was about 10 yo.
As an adult: alligator in various forms (fried, sausage), escargot, haggis.

Mine seem tame compared to some of these others.
  • We used to do big family brunches one Sunday a month, and my cousins and I would entertain ourselves by mixing our scraps in a glass and daring each other to drink it for money. So I guess you could say the strangest thing I've ever ate was a mixture of scrambled eggs, jelly, milk, steak, pancake, maple syrup, orange juice, butter, biscuits & gravy, bacon, toast, and a napkin...

    We were weird kids.

My favorite part of this is "...and a napkin." Win. Haha :)

As a special Sunday morning "treat", my father would scramble calves brains with the eggs. Smelled and tasted putrid. I couldn't come from a normal family that had bacon for breakfast. Oh no, we had calves brains wafting through our house.

Ok, this is probably not as "weird" as others but it was pretty disgusting to me. I was at this lady's house in another country and she gave me a piece of toast with some white stuff smeared on top. I didn't know what it was so I took a bite and almost puked. She milked a cow directly into the saucepan, boiled the milk, took the top layer of film that boiled up and spread it on the toast.
  • BBQ eel and cow heart ( I was tricked, the thought of eating somethings heart makes me sad, but lemme tell you that **** was tender, lol) I have also tried rattlesnake and quail, I tried a little piece of raw octopus too which felt weird.

I once ate a durian. It was far and away the weirdest fruit I've ever seen, and it smelled like rotting meat. Tasted good though. Other than that...I love German blood sausage. And alligator in garlic butter sauce ( in the Keys).

I worked at a rib joint in Florida for a time, fried Alligator tail is big down there. Our idea...BBQ Gator Ribs! They were tough, not very meaty portions but the mark up was fantastic and they were a top seller.

    TLDR: BBQ Alligator Ribs

I used to live in China, so, every weird part of a pig: *kitten*, ears, feet, nose. Also, turtle, snakes, scorpions, tarantulas, etc.

Oh, and geese testicles, which was actually a favourite. Stuff like frogs legs and snails and horse, but that didn't feel that weird...
