Not sure if serious? No matter where you go on vacation, there is a potential to gain weight, just as there is as much potential to eat healthy foods, if that's what you choose to do.

I've travelled to the States a few times (Mid-Western states & New England) and I found the portion sizes to be quite big however, you don't have to eat the entire serving. Wherever you dine, ask if they can prepare a 1/2 portion or a lunch-size portion & try small, locally owned restaurants instead of chain restaurants - www.urbanspoon.com.0
