Good morning ladies, I'm happy to announce that I'm almost back to 100%. The sneezing and bodyaches have subsided but the sniffling and slight headache still remain. I will continue taking medication in hopes of being 100% by later in the week. Today is day 1, week 12 of the P90X program and I rocked out the chest and back dvd. I found myself able to complete a lot more push ups than ever before so I'm super duper excited about it. My upper body strength still sucks so I still despise push ups but I am noticeably stronger so I guess something is working.

    Hello!
I will report my weight tomorrow morning. I was not at home this morning, and I'm leary of reporting based on a different scale. Anyway, I had a fairly bad weekend. It was my husband's family reunion and while the food wasn't necessarily UNhealthy, there was just a LOT of it! But I'm back on track today, and I will stick with it all week. The only downfall maybe when I go visit my dad on Saturday. But I'll just have to plan on the food Lora likes to cook, and make sure I don't go over maintenance!

Congrats to all who've lost, keep up the good work to those who've maintained (or seen a slight gain), and welcome to those of you who are new!

I'll be back tomorrow to let you know the news!

Oops I knew I would go up a bit. I drank and eat what I wanted during my engagment party and the rest of the weekned. I'm actually taking this week kinda off working out other than a little yoga and taking my puppy on long walks. I need a little break, plus next Monday my fiance and me are starting INSANITY. I'm really looking foward to it. And I know is going to help me get to where I wanna be which is pretty much just toning up so I look leaner.

Back down to 167. Woohoo! My plan for this week is to continue sticking to my calories, buy healthy snacks (since all the grocery shopping that was done while I was gone was done by DH:tongue: ), and start walking every night again (at least 1 mile). I reset my calorie goal to 1lb a week (I had upped it to 1/2lb a week), so hopefully with all of this I will get back to losing and reach my goal!

My hubbys' grandparents had me clean their house today, top to bottom, took me 5 1/2 hrs and wow I was sweaty!!! They said they'd like me to come over once a week and dust, vaccum, etc. It took so long this time because it hasn't been done in awhile and they finally admitted they just can't do it anymore. For cleaning today, they bought me a new pair of sneakers (which I freaking love!) and a pair of sexy black heels to go with the lil black dress I bought yesterday. I can fit in it, but not sure I'd feel comfy wearing it out just yet...maybe in Sept or for our anniversary in Oct. Anyway, I graduated the C25K plan tonight! I posted my thoughts on it here: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/blog/BrunetteWife/view/could-you-graduate-in-9weeks-i-did-33877 . So excited I did it!!! I plan on doing it over to work on speed. I have a swimming play date with my friend Kelly and her 2yr old tomorrow, and I'm ready!! Thanks to a wonderful mfp friend (cough*Traci*cough) I have a few new swimsuits to possibly wear. Hoping to finish this month strong and start off August stronger. Have a wonderful week and see ya on Fri for my official weigh in.

Good morning everyone and happy hump day! As everyone is aware I've been working from home for the past 6 weeks and yesterday right in the middle of my morning snack I got blindsided by my supervisor. She called me on my agency cell phone and informed me that I had been requested to assist another unit with an assignment that was going to require me to work out in the field for th next week. While I was thrilled that other supervisor's recognize my hard work and want me as part of their team I was not mentally prepared to head back into the field just yet. I had an hour to get my things together and head out of the door. Here's were being organized really came in handy. Since I was already showered and my clothes are ironed for the week it didn't take much for me to throw my lunch and afternoon snack together and get out the door.

So, today I had to get up at 5 am in order to get the workout in, eat breakfast, shower and head out the door. Today is week 12, day 3 of the P90X program which means it's a shoulders and arms day. Since I worked my arms on Monday completing all the push-ups that are apart of the chest and back routine and I worked them yesterday b/c of Billy Blanks total body cardio bootcamp my arms were already sore but I was still able to bring it. I felt really good after today's workout.

How was everyone's week? Mine has been hectic but good. I still have one paper I haven't even started on yet for my classes I took earlier in the summer. I have 2 weeks to get it done, which makes it hard for me to feel compelled to write it. (I'm going to join Procrastinators Anonymous tomorrow:wink: ) I just have to buckle down and get it done. As far as everything else, I've been doing good. Staying under my calories and getting in some kind of exercise each day (walking and swimming mostly).

How about you? Successes and failures this week? My success is getting in exercise, which is usually my downfall. My failure is water. Even though I'm at home I haven't been drinking nearly enough water.

I haven't done great on this challenge. I lost my focus, then injured my foot, made poor food choices etc. I've only lost a little over 4 pounds since this started. I need to stop making excuses. There are still exercises I can do with a hurt foot. I hate looking at this chart and seeing such terrible progress over 3 months! I'm going to keep working at it though. Thanks everyone for sharing your successes and struggles.

KaeChelle- Don't fret over it. Grab your boot straps and pull yourself back up again. You and I are having a similar problem. You have lost 4 pounds. Not what you want or would hope for, but at least it's the right direction! Take a look at my poor list:

We can do this!!! Good food choices, no excuses about exercise, lots of water. We WILL do this!!!!:drinker:

doing great on water and calorie count. slacking a bit on exercise, just not enough hours in a day (and likely to get worse with our move looming in a week and a half) i was doing really well with 5 or 6 days a week in the spring, now i'm lucky to get in 3.

oh well, the move happens in mid-august, so by september i expect to have re-established a schedule.

Good afternoon all! I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday but work was pure chaos. My team and I had a deadline to meet which meant working late Thursday night and getting in early on Friday.
I was able to get the workout in prior to heading into the office.

Yesterday was week 12, day 5 of the P90X program so I completed the leg and back routine.
I rocked that workout so much I can feel the soreness today, I love the feeling of knowing you rocked out a workout.

Today is week 12, day 6 of the P90X program which means its a Kenpo X day but since I'm not at home I had to improvise.
I completed 30 minutes on the elliptical machine and burned over 300 calories so I'm feeling GREAT!

Today is week 12 day 7 of the P90X program so I completed 70 minutes of stretching. My body really needed and appreciated today's stretch. My work assignment is due tomorrow by 10 am so I've been working on it the entire weekend and today will be no different.

Hi guys! Sorry I haven't been around... been very busy commuting and balancing work with son, divorce, etc. However, I did finish the C25K program, and ran my first 5K in honor of my friend who passed recently... it was a race for Organ Donor Awareness, and he died waiting for a kidney. Sadly, I am not eligible to donate a kidney b/c of my history of high blood pressure.

So, the good news... I get to have surgery this fall to for hyperparathyroidism... hopefully I'll have more energy, focus, etc. AND it might even lower my BP!!!... I did run a race this summer, and will be doing an adventure race/obstacle course this fall...possibly 2.

Chocolickkyss, saw a lady running the other day that reminded me of you! You are truly an inspiration and I am amazed at your stamina! : ) I don't think I'll be doing a triathlon soon... I might do one up in Steamboat Springs CO the end of Sept.... b/c I need to get more time in on the bike and more time in the pool. However, I do have to have surgery at some point in there, so it may have to wait until next year...

So, I start school again tomorrow! WOW! At least life will be a little more predictable and I'll post weights etc. more often! Weighing in again tomorrow... EEK!

happy monday morning- looks like i get to lead off this week.
i get to report a loss today. which i appreciate, because my exercise schedule has been suffering as we get chores done for the move. feeling okay since we've had some parties already (several more this week) not entirely sure about weighing-in next week with the move from boise to lincoln. i'll stop by if i can.

early in july, i'd pretty much decided i probably would not make my goal, but the closer we get the more obtainable it looks. i hope the current trend continues.

Good morning everyone and happy Monday! Today starts my FINAL week of the P90X program. The last week is a recovery week so I'm going to take it easy. Today Yoga was on the schedule and I'm happy to report that I did complete a yoga routine. I opted for Denise Austin's Yoga burn dvd because it was a lot shorter. My lower back has been bothering me since yesterday so I plan on doing some more stretching before the day is over.

I can't believe I completed the whole 13 weeks. I know I improvised w/different routines when I got bored but overall I stayed with it and am happy with my results. I don't have numbers report (weight & inches lost) but I can clearly see definition over my entire body especially the back, biceps and quads. I'm really proud of myself and so happy to have found a website that has such supportive people.

I ordered the Chalean Extreme program today so I'm hoping it will be here by early next week I also hope to improve on the progress I made and lower my body fat %

Ladies, I can not believe the Labor Day challenge is just about over. Everyone has done a great job getting those unwanted pounds off thus far I say let's keep it going throughout the remainder of the year. For those of you who havent seen the success you wanted or hoped for the challenge is not over yet and there's still some months before we say goodbye to 2010. You don't want to look back on this year and say "I COULDA, SHOULDA, WOULDA".

I admit to weighing myself several times this past week, and OF COURSE each of those times I was 166. Yesterday we had a cookout at church, which involved hotdogs and potato salad, and other sodium high rollers. I'm hoping that the sodium is why it went back up today. This week I am going to start the 200 sit up challenge, except instead of doing crunches I'm going to do leg lifts. That should help my lower abs (which are a problem area for me because of 2 c-sections:ohwell: ).

    :drinker: Here's to good choices!:drinker:

I'm still doing C25K - I start week 4 tonight. I've also just sent in another registration for a run on 8-21-10! Its only a TWO mile run this time! My brother, cousin, neice, & nephew are going to do it with me as well! Its a FAMILY AFFAIR!

This week is FAIR week for me. Hopefully I'll do ok & not gain any! I will try to be as good as I can, however it may be hard because I will definitely be eating at least one meal daily at the fair. :ohwell:

Good afternoon everyone! My summer vacation is officially over b/c tomorrow I begin working in the office again. My team and I will report to one of our locations tomorrow and will be there until late fall. Therefore, I will have to begin getting up at 5 am in order to get those workouts in.

Today is week 13, day 2 of the P90X program which means it's recovery week. I rocked out 40 minutes of Core Cardio & Balance from the Insanity program. This is a full body workout and my upper body always feels it when completing the level 1 drills, walking planks and the shoulder burners.

Well, I hit my goal weight this morning. I'm totally psyched and a little nervous about the even bigger job of maintaining. I've been so focused on losing, it's going to be a mental shift. I'm not quite sure how to go about it yet :)

Doing the MUDDY BUDDY in Boulder in a couple of weeks! Should be fun! Don't know if you guys are into it, but check it out, they have them around the country... www.muddybuddy.com.

OK that looks like FUN! Too bad I just missed the Chicago one on Aug 1st! Maybe next year!
